Tibor is almost 40 and he knows what he likes. Forget formal tails etc, he likes the old regency style. He tells his story in a post made today.

I designed and adopted a modernization of Regency menswear with the innovations of the past 140 years. Something I have wanted to do since I was 3 or 4 years old but was difficult to convince myself if going against the grain this hard was worth it. - Tibor

Certainly looks better than ragged old jeans with holes in them. At least he looks smart. Looks like he has mustered up the guts to do it too.

He is almost 40 but mentally he is 12.

His mother is psychologist, so as I use to say, all the psychologist women I have met have deep issues, here seems another example
of one who turned crazy his son. My speciality: psicotraumatology intergenerational.

A mother that lets a son go out by the door that way is a clear mental and physical mistreat. Social services should intervene... oh wait, social services
are also women psychologist... So we have the perfect circle of social mistreat.

Total idiot.
This is the fella who went apeshit years ago when accused of doing cosplay. Complete lack of self-awareness. He’s gotten worse over the years. That pic of him in the Napoleon hat - how can you possibly take someone like that seriously? I wonder if he’s still a rent-a-cop. Can you imagine him getting dressed for his next job interview?

“Lets talk about YOUR mother”

”Take your time”

This guy would still look like a nonce and be the subject of derision even in the era he's trying to imitate.

The guy got angry with me because I published it.

I am sorry fella, next time do not make me order silk fabrics for your bespoke tie orders and then never pay u damn inmature unable to keep
your given word.

An idiot who disguises of XIX century gentleman but is unable to keep his given word.

An applause!

Outfit is ok, though it looks like he was dressed by an Instagram algorithm. The OCD excel spreadsheet of wears is so fucking lame though. Do you think he knows how many wears he has on his jocks as well? It also makes it clear that he is in scrubs all day and that all of these expensive clothes are primarily bought for Instagram posts to impress random dudes.

600 words on this outfit and waxing on about how it is a step towards showiness.

The man is so incredibly dull that I would almost be interested in what his thought process was when writing that piece.

That photo should be pasted into a pic of a suburban mall. The photography and scenery is usually all that saves him.

Is Craptom trying to act American? The hat is ridiculous with the outfit

I've got no idea, I mainly visit his site because he has a discount code situation going on with some of his advertisers and sometimes has interesting new (to me) makers.

But from what I've understood is that being "subtly well dressed, and never too formal" is his whole shtick, so the cap might be an attempt to 'democratise' the flannel trousers and balmacaan?

I think the cap (and much of his interest in casual and vintage clothing) is part of an effort to appear more 'hip' and youthful. It could be part business strategy, but I suspect it's mainly a personal phase as he reaches middle age.

I think this is true but also it’s a desperate stretch for relevance as his site was firmly aimed at bespoke suits for which demand and interest must surely have taken a big hit post- COVID. Now he need a new audience. See also GQ magazine and their relentless posing of rappers on the front cover.

Yes, that is true, and it is something he has acknowledged. I think his own needs have become more casual since he stopped working in whatever dull city job he once had, and this pre-dates covid. Post-covid he has observed a change in how men dress, although I don't see why that would continue now when everything is back to normal.

He's fucking bald, his head gets cold in autumn. Should have gone for an Escorial flat cap...

Kraft has looked worse, but he appears to be wearing a striped suit coat divorced from trousers.
I noticed he had to buy a replacement dog closely matching the one that sadly died. It was either that or new slippers.

Take off the coat, he is Steven Spielberg and every director/director wannabe. Ball hat and that kind of casual does not play that well in SWD. It's not young or hip unless you are trying to be an influencer to suburban dads, especially those who buy crocs.

Cesare Attolini has passed away yesterday. My condolences to the number one.

I got the luck to do shirts for them in the secondary shirt room.

🇬🇧
Goodbye Maestro Cesare, you will always be with us, together in our beloved sartoria.
A visionary, generous, passionate, authentic, humble man for his greatness.
A husband, father, master of art of immense, unforgettable value. His profound humanity, his wisdom and his genius will guide us forever.
Today a great tailor leaves us, probably the greatest, but above all a great father who knew how to love his children, his family and all his innumerable pupils as only those with a big heart can do.
Your immense spirit guide will always be with us.
Everyday. Like yesterday, forever.
Massimiliano, Giuseppe, all the Attolini family and the Cesare Attolini tailors family, with immense love for their father Cesare.

Makes me wonder when he'll move out to the Cotswolds and get a F-150 Super Duty. Interview with Jeremy Clarkson on the perils of farming and country lifestyle definitely incoming.
