50+ Dead in Orlando Gay Nightclub Massacre

If one good thing can come out of this, it's that we haven't gotten to hear Obama lecture us about the dangers of Islamophobia in quite a while.
 
Orlando is quiet as hell. I live in downtown and it feels like a regular day. Got a call at 7 am from my supervisor, but nothing on the net as of yet. Also, another guy was caught in LA. I hope this is just not another false flag attack to further erode our rights.
 
This is a sad day for LBGTQP people.
Was more than one straight person hurt?
 
Has the media blamed white people and guns yet? Because my Facebook feed is filled with people refuting those arguments.

They blamed it on guns already. They are already threatening as a terrorist incident and orlando/florida should be declared on state of emergencies in any moment.
 
Some of the most ardent defenders of Islam (as in it should be understood independently from Islamic extremism/radical Islam) that I know are staunch Republicans. Though that might have to do with their bank accounts.

The media likes to paint pictures of homogenous political parties and highlight the wingnuts. The Republicans want everyone to have guns and to say a prayer before patriotic history classes, and the Dems get offended by everything that doesn't involve gay sex.

Just like the Illuminati want.

The biggest gift the Illuminati have received in the last two decades has to be social media. It highlights the wingnuts even better than MSM, and the Illuminati don't have to do anything.

I'm doing some thorough research, but I don't think Zuckerberg is an Illuminatus.

Seems that IS has claimed the attacker was one of them.
The family claims that he wasn't very religious but mentally unstable and violent.
Going by the fxh fxh image I'd say it will be a mix of bombing a country and uphold gun laws. Flawless victory.

Maybe I'm reading old news (as in, a few hours old), but the last I heard, the attacker had been claiming "Oh, I'm affiliated with IS" but then he appeared to be mentally unstable so he was probably lying.

So has someone from IS now come out to claim that they were instructing him to carry out an attack on a gay nightclub???

It was crazy to get to work today. There were cops after cops after cops.
 
Beyond the suspicion that a violent crazy person might also be, shockingly, a homosexual, we know have an answer to the quandary of how exactly one dude with a manually-firing weapon managed to shoot like 100 people. The initial reports were that the shooter, being some genius with three or four hands, was somehow blocking doors in between reloads. Nope, maybe it was this selfish sociopath here

There were a few tweets/facebook posts from people claiming to be survivors stating that there were at least two accomplices. Don't know how legitimate they were, and even if they were actually survivors, I'd imagine it was pretty chaotic inside the nightclub.
 
I don't know what people wear in Orlando, but how do you disguise carrying an assault rifle when entering a gay night club?
There were reports that he had 2 assault rifles, which might explain why people got confused.

He came into the club shooting and people got inside. Then when he came inside the real carnage started.
 
Just a few thoughts here:
Given that the vast majority of the victims were young males (and I presume the entire clientele as well), I am a little surprised nobody tried some sort of counterattack. A few beer bottles lobbed at his head to spoil his aim, a quick rush to grab the muzzle of the rifle and problem solved! People today need more of a combative mindset. The same thought occurred to me after the Virginia Tech massacre. I don't consider myself an especially brave man, but in a situation like this, I'd much rather be found dead with fatal wounds in my chest than in my back.

I gather that apparently he had frequented this and other gay clubs earlier. Whether this was due to some kind of sexual identity confusion or was simply a spying operation seems uncertain at this point. I think of the saying, "Guys who bash gays are trying to bash the gay out of themselves." Certainly this was the greatest and worst gay-bashing in history, American history, anyway.
 
It's pretty well accepted that outward manifestation of hatred is redirected self hate, so I'd say that's accurate.

i've been having trouble with this as well. i've seen it said that someone barracaded the exit door (one of the club goers), then I've also seen it said that the shooter had help. even with all of that, i still don't know why someone couldn't have flung a tequila bottle at his head? or he couldn't have been gang rushed while he was reloading?

Instinct. Our first thought in such a situation is self preservation, which means we attempt to escape. Why they went for hiding in the toilets is beyond me, though.
Besides, there was no Ben Carson to lead the counterattack.
