A Futile and Stupid Gesture: The History of the Trump Presidency & Q-Anon

Historian Fiona Hill has spent decades studying Russia and the former Soviet Union, looking at how disinformation and lies are woven into authoritarian regimes. The patterns in such states are clear, Hill says: purging staff seen as disloyal, demonizing the checks and balances of civil society, attacking the media.

"At every turn in other countries where I've seen this happen, we're starting to see the same signs here in the United States," Hill says. "So we're suddenly in the company of many others. I think the main thing is that we've had a really hard time realizing that it could happen here."

Falsifying election results is another clue; along with getting the top judges to dismiss charges or rule in your favour.

shooey i hate to break it to you but we don't have any freedoms now. its all a facade. the minute you step out of line you get stepped on. it was no different under trump than it was obama.

As you type any nonsense that enters your brain on a machine that broadcasts it across the planet.

Greenberg usually has an interesting take:

‘Suddenly, policy positions associated with the discredited “paleoconservative” or Pat Buchanan wing of the Republican Party enjoyed a new life:’

He says this as if it’s a bad thing.

He’s obviously not a Trump fan.

Moscow Mitch takes a courageous stand at the 11th hour:

“The mob was fed lies,” McConnell said on the Senate floor on the last full day of Trump’s presidency. “They were provoked by the president and other powerful people. And they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government which they did not like. But we pressed on.”

This NESARA/GESARA stuff is fascinating! Enough material for a sci-fi blockbuster trilogy.

Soon after Barnard released NESARA on the internet, a user known as "Dove of Oneness" began posting about it in internet forums. "Dove of Oneness" was later identified as Shaini Candace Goodwin, a former student of The Ramtha School Of Enlightenment, referred to in the media as a "cybercult queen."[1] According to Goodwin's website, the NESARA bill languished in Congress before finally being passed by a secret session in March 2000 and signed by President Bill Clinton. It is claimed that the new law was to be implemented at 10 a.m. on September 11, 2001, but that the computers, and data (of the beneficiaries of the trillions of dollars of "Prosperity funds") were destroyed on the second floor of one of the World Trade Center towers in New York City during the terrorist attacks. Supposedly an earlier gag order issued by the Supreme Court had prohibited any official or private source from discussing it, under penalty of death.[1] Goodwin referred to "White Knights," most of them high-ranking military officials, who have since been struggling to have the law implemented despite opposition by President George W. Bush. Goodwin allegedly believes and purports that Bush orchestrated the September 11 attacks and the Iraq War as distractions from NESARA.[4][5] Goodwin's description of NESARA goes far beyond Barnard's proposal by cancelling all personal debts, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, declaring world peace, and requiring new presidential and congressional elections. Goodwin often claimed that Bush officials were attempting to hack into and bring down her web site to prevent her from publicizing the law.[6]

Goodwin began commenting on NESARA in connection with Omega Trust, a fraudulent investment scheme whose creator, Clyde Hood, was on trial at the time. According to Goodwin, Omega Trust investors would receive their returns after NESARA was announced.[1][7] Goodwin repeatedly predicted that the NESARA announcement would occur in the very near future,[8][9][10] although in later years she became more reserved in these predictions.[11]

Other developments

After Goodwin began commenting on NESARA, other internet-based conspiracy theorists latched onto it. One supporter, Sheldan Nidle, ties the imminent NESARA announcement into his years-old prophecy of an imminent large scale UFO visitation by benevolent aliens (occasionally on his website reports, but more prominently in his videos,[12] seminars and public appearances). Jennifer Lee, who used to publish internet NESARA status reports almost daily[13] on her now defunct site, discussed a host of other-worldly and "interdimensional" beings who are helping behind the scenes to get NESARA announced. Internet evangelist Sherry Shriner, who operates many websites, sees NESARA as linked to malevolent reptiloid aliens she feels have long controlled the U.S. government.[14]

NESARA groups are known for certain to exist and to have attracted press attention in Utah,[15][16] and the Netherlands.[17] Members of these groups get together to discuss the status of NESARA, read the various reports, hold protests, and pass out fliers about NESARA to the public. Goodwin claims that NESARA groups exist throughout several nations and US states including California, Washington, Arizona, and Texas, and provides hundreds of pieces of photographic evidence of people in public protests holding NESARA banners,[18][19] but it is not clear to what degree the people holding the banners are aware of what NESARA is, or for how long these groups were active. The News Tribune has traced the story behind at least some of these photos (photos of trucks driving around Washington, D.C. bearing the words "NESARA Announcement Now!"), and found that they were part of a $40,000 advertising campaign allegedly paid for by an elderly San Francisco resident who had made donations to Goodwin.[17]

QAnon was known to be coming up with false predictions early on. It seems the gullible followers were being played and trolled.

Some of the rioters who stormed the Capitol building believed this was ''part of the plan'', trust the plan and thought secret service agents were about to join them, there should be an investigation into QAnon and expose those behind it.

The tragedy of Trump is that he should have been cute enough to realise that the fever pitch he had worked up some of his supporters up to could be exploited and in the end he allowed himself to be played by his enemies giving them all the ammunition they needed. But like Biden, he's well past his prime, he won't be making any come back in 4 years time. He might think he will, but he won't and the impeachment will only empower Trump in the short to medium term.

After the election was called, Trump should have focused on his legacy and the most gracious handover ever. That would have thrown his enemies and distractors. It would have been a powerful statement of his prowess. In the end, his ego wouldn't let that be.

Like the archetypal gunslinger, there ain't no place for him in polite society and so he goes cast out.

You mean, right from the very beginning where Q stated that Hillary Clinton or other senior Democrats had their planes forced down by the military and had been arrested? Or when Q stated that the Las Vegas shooting was tied to Saudi Arabia and the MS-13 criminal gang? Or when Q stated that most senior people in the US were Satanists who wore upside-down crosses on their bodies?

Or was it something else that gave it away?!

Yes, it's very odd. There's quite a bit of crossover between NESARA and the sovereign citizen/freeman-on-the-land movement, too. I've had to deal with some of them over the years and they're both fascinating but also highly irritating to deal with.

It’s not been easy. Tainted by Trump’s reputation, several Trump aides described an increasingly bleak job market with virtually no chance of landing jobs in corporate America and some even having seen promising leads disappear after the rampage at the U.S. Capitol. A second former White House official said they knew of “people who got jobs rescinded because of Jan. 6.” A Republican strategist was blunter.

“They are really f---ed,” the strategist said, pointing to some top officials who stuck with Trump until the bitter end.

Even my mother was at it today in the daily Whatsapp: Have you heard the latest about Trump, Russian owned him since the 1970s and paid off all his debts several times! What, on the off chance he would become the President of the USA 50 years later?

FFS! Let it be, let him go quietly into the political wilderness do not make him a martyr or particularly, delegitimize or vindictively cancel those who voted for him or ever served in that administration from ever holding public or corporate office again.

The era of Trump is over. The daily hate sessions need to go, unless you want the next 4 years to all be about Trump?

On that the verdict is still out, particularly for the MSM. Have they got any other card to play? Even the news here will run with Trump as a headline a couple of times a week.

It should all now be about the Democrats policies and actions and if they still want to make it all about Trump, they deserve the next 4 years to once again all be about Trump at the cost of their own mental stability.

I just did a cursory check through my super left-wing, MSM news sources: NYT, WSJ, WaPo, CNN. Few, if any, mentions of Trump, and definitely no "daily hate sessions" in sight. You know who is however talking about Trump, or "Trump Hate"? Fox News. and OANN.

So once you move away from right-wing platforms, Dutch TV, and your Mother's whatsapp channel, you'll realize that most of the world has indeed started moving on, and is much more interested in what Biden is doing in his first days to deal with COVID, the economic crisis, racial inequality, and other problems the US has to face.

Trump, however, still needs to face the consequences of inciting an ilegal and botched attempt at overthrowing the legitimate President of the US of A. And that should not be forgotten.

You didn't dig as deep on your research into the abundance of high street fishmongers in the UK did you?

The Daily Mail, the most widely read English language newspaper in the world, ran with the Trump as Russian asset since 1975 story earlier in the week.

Meanwhile, one of your news sources, CNN, still leading with Trump headlines today.

Daily Mail, last time I checked, is a UK paper. It holds fuck all visibility once you are in the US.

As you don't know, the Daily Mail has a specific online US edition, which caters for the US domestic market.

Last market share data I looked at, it is the largest read tabloid newspaper in the US. 80 million Americans visit it each month.

It simply holds a massive fuck-you visibility in the US.
