I rather like the look of this one, though there is too much text on the dial. ‘Naval Watch Company’ (a play on the legit CWC or Cabot Watch Company name) sounds a little ridiculous, but what really astounds me is the way everyone just slaps a broad arrow on their watches these days.

No, just bored. I’m still a ‘one watch guy’. I thought I’d like the heritage but o think I prefer the Spectre dial. And I missed that the latter had the wrong bezel.

How come wrong bezel on Spectre?

Not yet but the BoJ is trying their best to stop fucking things up, so in the mean time it'll bounce back a bit.

Unfortunately, it’s more of a “Seiko” in that someone in China put a Seiko movement into a different case with all the other bits, including s dial they wrote Seiko on. The quality of materials and work isn’t much better than the WMT or Tiger.

As much as I want to go with a cheaper option (if I’m silly enough to buy anything to scratch this itch), at least the Transworld is assembled in New York by a former head of Rolex’s service center- someone who is a trained and skilled watch smith and understands QC. I really can’t tell if the parts are any better though - probably all come from the same Chinese vendor. And paying $600 for an NH3X movement would really hurt.
