the brown windowpane i like a lot

to me the pow is more a country suit than a sportscoat, again the pockets are a very advanced move, especially the breast pocket

Whoa, there is a lot of oddness here. Level-bottomed hacking pockets? The chest pocket angling outward (actually same with the cord; is this some lefty thing)? The previously mentioned formality incongruence of cut and fabric pattern.

The blue windowpane is fine although the one posted by doghouse most recently is more flexible. I like the DB corduroy but agree with ConchitaWurst that it requires a leap of faith. I also agree with his point that the glen check seems more of a suit fabric.

I remember asking him about it when he posted this. All he replied was that there was some misunderstanding during the MTO process and that this was the best they could do and that he wasn't particularly bothered by it. Which I can't believe, if it were my jacket I had demanded them to correct it.

We discussed here at the time and came to the same level of disbelief that he would not explain except for his cryptic reason, his accepting it as acceptable even if it is not and deferring to Greg to explain more if he chose to.
