Most people probably aren't aware that there is supposed to be a whole large population of humans who are half fish half human living in the sea. Here is pretty convincing footage of a mermaid...look how it swims off into the water and accelerates away. No human can swim off like that.

Not sure if this is real like the above video appears to be, but interesting.

So you don't believe the conventional wisdom that such lore is the result of drunk horny sailors ogling manatees from afar?

I was more asking The Shooman The Shooman , as the implication is that there is some attempt to hide this cryptozoology.
However, manlove is not totally satisfying when a woman is wanted, and the genital question on mermaids is in line with a desire for femininity over orgasm.

No, l beleive they saw the real deal. Mankind has never been able to handle the possible existance of various mythical creatures and aliens because heir's enlightenment quality is poor due to the physical material world and it's practical teachings. Mankind still largely thinks we are all alone in the universe, and if things can't be seen with one's own eyes it must not exist. But at the same time, you don't want to believe everything you hear either. It is a case of improving enlightenment quality and being able to work out what is true and what's not.

Hey, Shooey, as long as we are on the subject of mystery humanoids, what are your views on the Australian Yowie? I know such a creature should be an impossibility based on established principles of zoogeography, but a lot of people in the Outback have claimed to see such a creature.

Are you a crypto buff in general? Any views on the Queensland Marsupial "Tiger"? That's one cryptid that came close to acceptance by mainstream science but seems to have faded from view in later decades.

Anyway, it's great to see you in this forum, which I think will be a good fit for you. We have been mates in forumland since I joined AAAC back in the spring of '04.
