And sadly they leave us very little option, but to vote against the liberal democracies.
At least you finally admit it. Sieg Heil

Britain needed to be in the EU helping to shape it. This is not because I believe in Euro-theology, but rather because I want to stop it. My vision is for a European super-alliance of free nation-states.
Julian Lindley-French gets it.
.
You see this with every crisis, which is always met with the response of the necessity for ever closer union.
I'm a fan of French, but the good professor is not going to get a 'super-alliance of free nation states', that is not on the cards, and never has been.

No, hegemony is what we are proposing.
A good article from a Remainer and this is important: ''There would also need to be a full public enquiry into the Brexit fiasco that is properly conducted and with findings published before all those involved are safely ennobled in the House of Lords, retired or both.'' The traitors in the camp need to be punished.
The only decent option now with dignity maintained is WTO 29th March, nothing less. The negotiations on a trade deal can start the next day.
Sovereignty dear boy, sovereignty!

Dawg believes that if Britain were to remain and become a fully cooperative member of the EU it would come to, well perhaps not dominate it, but steer it or act as a bulwark against its 'dafter' ideas.
I don't think the French / German axis would allow that. The EU has always been a Franco-German project.
True. This has been apparent for a long time.
Unfortunately, the only reason May has not ruled out WTO exit is to try to frighten the EU into concessions and at the same time frighten MPs into accepting her Withdrawal Agreement (dressed up a bit during Operation Figleaf). She is still a Remainers at heart.
It's increasingly likely the Queen will have to step in next week to secure the will of the People. Bring it on and let Her Majesty tame this Parliament of Quislings.
