They were actually quite good in the 2000's, I had a good jacket and a few shirts. Then they seemed to vanish.

Read through the article, the group is only closing that particular factory, firing 134 workers, 130 of them women. There are other ones in Le Marche and Abruzzo.
From what I understood this factory did a lot of MTM and specialties, so maybe they're shutting that sector down.

I bought a canali shirt a few years ago because I had a gift certificate from my brother but prior to that it must have been more than ten years ago since some sales associate pushed a canali tie on me. That astonishing 3.75" or 4" category.
