Coronavirus

I have now read pretty much everything, except for the last six articles which I'll read later. Some of them were interesting and some even adressed my question, which wasn't formulated precisely enough. How many people are affected, to which extent and for how long still seems to be fairly uncertain.

Canadian stats on long COVID:

~1 in 9 Canadians have suffered long COVID effects = 3.5 million people
80% have had side effects/symptoms for more than 6 months
>50% of those still had it in June 2023.

a running theory is its a lot like HIV...

I"ve read something about this resp something related a longer while ago and it was called "T-cell exhaustion". Does not seem like a medical term, at least at that time there wasn't any real literature to be found (by me, that is). They claimed the vaccine would have the same effect. Truly sucks because by now the average person probably had like two jabs and five infections.

How many people do you know who have this disease? Is everyone keeping this a secret and not talking about it?

this is a great summation of current statistics on long haulers.

another one with actual participant comments on their effects.

It is not explicitely mentioned in the introduction, but it looks like this is the guy that took a fee for taking the vaccine in place of other people (who needed it for work etc).
Germans, just as stupid as Americans.
