I figured we'd leave the general fitness to the mall walkers and I can talk shop with people who lift here.

I've been nursing my bicep tendinitis for the past month or so by doing light weight and heavy reps, but the past 2 nights I decided to say fuckit and hit it heavy again. Been a while since I picked up the 125's but it felt good man. In probably going to be paying for it tomorrow.
 
Hit bench with the 125's today. Only managed to get 3. Which sucks, but it's not bad considering how busted up I am at the moment.
 
Had been out of the weightroom since the end of September on a doctor's rec. Got back in twice last week. Feeling fantastic.
 
Just bought myself a bunch of bulk supplements on Amazon: Beta Alanine, Taurine, Creatine, and BCAA's. Reviews look good and the prices are great. Also got a micro scale to help measure.

Think I fucked up my left shoulder again.

Been working with the Slingshot. Not sure its helping my bench form yet or not since I'm still fucking around with the sizing. Used it to get 315x3x2 last week. I'm toying between an XXL Yellow and an XXXL Red.
 
Got 225x8x3 on the incline tonight. Decided on the XXXL red slingshot too. Feels like it helps a bit better.
 
got 315x5 but only for 1 set. shoulder is bothering the crap out of me so I'm going to get it checked out on monday.
 
Definitely something wrong with my shoulder. There's quite a bit of laxity in the capsule and I think that's causing the dragging feeling I'm getting in my scapula. Not exactly sure what the cause its. Hopefully its not a subluxation issue.
 
Gym closed until the 5th b/c school between sessions. Rip off. May be good thing though b/c was feeling a lot of pressure on my left elbow that I've never felt before. Probably a blessing in disguise.

Going to be running for about 2 weeks and see how I feel. MFDoom MFDoom , I'm putting in miles with you this week.

what kind of pressure and where on the elbow?
 
Fucking hell Rambo, 315 bench is solid by any measure. At me best I could squat 315, but for fewer reps
 
Saw the PT today. Seemed to know his shit fairly well. Thinks it's a scapular issue, specifically something with low trap and/or subscapularis activation. Added me in a few extra PT exercises and wants me to focus a bit more on doing some work with the BOSU ball to introduce instability.
