Great voice. Dusty did much better in the US with half a dozen top 20 hits.

oh Lulu could be very good - a good rocker and she could belt out a very bluesy feel.

The story of the Dusty in Memphis recording is an interesting one. I'll see if I can dig it up.
 
Thread would be improved by suitable and tasteful puns. For example, Christopher Lee died.

He's not really dead, he's just resting. He'll be up and about come nightfall.
 
David Bowie died. The local news here had someone who wasn't even close to age 25 explain through a scan of tweets what he meant to the entertainment industry.

I don't even know him that well, why ask an early 20s man who wasn't even an idea in his parents' heads when he had his first hit.

McCartney already died in 1966 and was replaced by Billy Shears.

Everyone knows the only Beatles still alive are Ringo and John Lennon.
