I have been trying to find a nice pair of chukka boots to replace the last pair I have that wore out. I really liked my last pair, which were about $160, but the soles split and cracked. I bought a pair from Born Shoes for about $140, but the fit wasn't right for me.
Then yesterday I went to Nordstrom Rack. They had about four options that seemed decent, but after trying them all on, the pair I liked most (comfort/design/fit) ended up being by far the least expensive.
