I did put some on hold, but I think I'm getting ready to go with an order. My self control is waning. Pink wool/linen mix jacket and some cream linen trousers.

good choices. I have a purple wool/silk/linen jacket that i really like. Would consider pink as well.

Yes i cant wait any longer. But now is the time to order fall and winter stuff

Any of you guys have your spring/summer bespoke plans put on hold because of the virus? I was going to see my tailor in March for my spring/summer wardrobe but the confinement/quarantine put an end to those plans. I even had selected some cloths. Strangely enough i guess green would have been my color for the season.

Have you taken up hunting as a hobby?

corona good for saving money. My bespoke plans were completely ruined. Hope to be back in the game for tge winter season though. Have you already selected stuff?

tissue hunting, yes its a bit of a hobby. Or you mean green is a color for hunters? Have all the summer bases covered, cream, biege, brown, blues, light greys, even purple. Why not some green this time?

Well that’s the other thing, have a whole bunch of winter stuff i was also supposed to pickup that i never did. And have a few winter things that also arent finished. So im not sure im going to order more. Certainly havent selected the cloth for anything new. I guess my whole year is ruined.

They are of course, the choice of the mainland European industrialist and CEO class, including the now retiring, Walter von känel of Longines:

as a lover of hermes ties i have to applaud mr känel for sporting them. Nevertheless, in this picture mr känel picked one of hermes’ dullest a blandest tie designs. Very much in line though with current longines designs.🤭

Jon Savage? I follow him on instagram as well🤣🤣🤣🤣. He doesn’t usually look so sharp in the photos he posts, but i dont follow him for that. Well he’s one of the best rock critics going. Reading Englands Dreaming as a youngster had a profound effect on me that hopefully still resonates a bit to this day.
Ololololo you little sex pistol

Well the Village People, no. But you got to be a bit mental not to enjoy Abba or 70s Elton every now and then. I believe even the young pistols were fans. Shit Steve Jones still loves Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood. And Rotten's band following the pistols, PIL, was probably influenced at least in part by Abba, it can't all be Kraut Rock and dub reggae you know. But its been a long time since I was really up on these things so I may be off a bit. If you haven't noticed I try not to discuss non clothing topics like music or politics on clothing message boards. For me my specialist hobbies or interests (which are fairly numerous) often require specialist friends and specialist discussion groups. Pretty rare that interests overlap completely, especially when you are a true hobbyist that needs to go in depth.

big trend on SF to make up the new colored solaros in reverse. Meaning the side of the cloth which is usually hidden is now the front of the cloth. Seems to be done by the naples tailor of horrors TooFuni and some of those budget sicilian operations that are managed in the States by urban composition and china friend sleeve head.
Solaro also a trend among the german insta big dogs. Stinky sting with his bad skin was even playing golf in them with fun belt and black shoes. Shame i didnt screenshot that shit. Anyway

The best thing about Savage's Englands Dreaming was Julie Burchill's review in the Modern Review.

If liking ABBA is wrong I don't wanna be right. Elton John is very on or off. Madman Across the Water? He'll yes. Lion King? Not so much. Randomly, Sad Songs is on the radio as I type this.
