In an age when being over 30 is shameful and most young men's fathers don't own even a single suit and Dressing Up means wearing a fleece jacket over a T shirt, how does an older gent demonstrate style.
I mean aside from the standard Dad's "edgy" statement of a bright red shiny polyester tie with an ill fitting black shirt.

I'll kick off with a poll on the current favourite of clueless grandchildren and wives world wide. This bloke is having his images emailed all over the world to poor old granddads who just want to be left alone.
He's being lionised by the usual suspects on Men's Fashion blogs and media columns. Y'know the ones; written by 25 year old female fashion bloggers and shillsters.
Gents I present you with ........Günther Krabbenhöft
We may have just found our new style icon.
Meet Günther Anton Krabbenhöft, a grandpa from Berlin, Germany who is making waves around the world because of his killer style. He was first noticed by Björn Akstinat of the German fashion blog Schickaa, who photographed Günther at the train station in a red bowling hat, yellow bow tie and burgundy leather driving gloves.
Krabbenhöft says his personal style comes from dressing how he wants and injecting happiness into every outfit. He told the blog, "I've always dressed like this. When I went to work, when I go to exercise. I want to look at myself with joy. It's also always a reflection of my inner self."
And while we don't know his actual age (some outlets say he is 104, though he wrote on Facebook he is half that age), that's besides the point: the man knows how to dress, and can teach us a thing or two about style, mainly that it doesn't decrease with age.
