I would say unless I have activities in the evening I am in bed for 8. There are may be insomnia hours where I am up for 45m,1hr or more.
I used to sleep around 6 a few years ago. But now that I'm working out I find that extra 1 hour or 90 minutes I can squeeze in has real health benefits. I might go to bed or wake up in the middle of the night at the 6 hour sleep mark with some kind of knock or muscle pain but that final sleep spurt I find gives me a full recovery so I can hit the gym again.
