Thought I'd crowdsource any improvements you guys think are needed, and possibly get some help from people on where and what to look into.

I know for sure we need a Favicon image and a slightly improved logo. DYSong Photography Chris JetBlast you guys might know what to do there.

We were thinking about removing the forum landing page for something like this in its place:

Same type of landing page with a login and password, and maybe a revolving set of nice menswear images. Then you'd get into the forum from there.

And most importantly, WE NEED MORE CLOTHING CONTENT AND POSTERS.

Suggestions on the last one are most definitely welcome.

Some people have been asking about a classified section. We're looking at modding the default forum resource manager to make it a classified. The default looks like this:



Now, we can edit the tab names, and add in a variety of categories. For instance: shirts, shoes, outerwear, etc. Each "listing" looks like this:

The problem with this is threefold:

One - this is basically made to be an uploader of files (videos, pdf's, etc) so it would take a lot of editing.
Two - the tabs at the top aren't customizable at the moment (latest, new, most, etc.)
Three - we have no idea how well it would work.

If there would be a classified section, it would be nice if you can do a very specific search or at least that if you can search by your size. In SF it's really really boring just browsing by Blazers and Suits, cause you waste a lot of time opening threads that are not your size.

You'll notice up in the top left of the navbar a new tab for the Classifieds section. This is modeled after a resource manager (something where you'd upload files or materials and other people could download it) but it has excellent categorization and in depth options. At this point, since the software is relatively new, there's only so much we can do with it. But, we need your help in testing and changing the features that are there. So, for the time being, try it out and post things for sale. Let us know what we need to add, change, fix, etc. and we'll see if we can get it done. As always, we thank you for your help and support in getting the site up and running.

Where you can have people tell you that you look like crap, without a riot rising up and threatening you with expulsion from the gang. Where you can discuss politics without wanting to stab a knife through your monitor. Where you can sneak a peak of naked women while at work, all under the guise of looking for suiting advice. What I like here is that it's still a growing community and there are no guys whinning about how many post you made a day or if you already have passed the post count of certain guy. Also the naked woman part... that might attract lesbian, which is probably nice, but a bunch of real women can make the forum better.

We're thinking about adding a Shoutbox style chat system. Would you guys have any interest in that? It allows IRC/Chat room style chats to run on the forum itself. Here's how it would look:

It can also function as an alert window, showing thread replies and posts:

The ability to view who's in the chat could be listed in the upcoming sidebar as well.

The main access would be from a tab at the top of the nav bar.

I use public transportation and walk a lot. Seoul is too hot for any kind of suit. I had no problem with suits in summer in Texas, which is hotter, but there I had a car. I went from an air conditioned car to an air conditioned building...the only real heat I had to deal with was that of the parking lot.
