Times are hard right now with the pandemic. Given that I can't get a tailor to size me up in person, I thought I'd give Indochino a try.
I'm in the process of purchasing a black suit from Indochino. I went for this one https://www.indochino.com/product/milano-black-suit. My fiance helped me take my measurements, and I submitted my order on 5/25.
On ~ June 11th, I got the suit in the mail. Here's a link to the photos of the initial suit https://imgur.com/a/4Lx1giQ. Sorry for all the wrinkles. They send you these suits all folded up in a thin box. I sent these photos along with my comments, which I included below as bullet points, in an email to Indochino.
They used my comments and photos to craft me a new suit. I just got that in the mail today 6/29. Here's a link to some images of me wearing the new suit https://imgur.com/a/cosYyD6. I'm thinking about what to tell them now.
Can anyone out there on r/frugalmalefashion give me some tips? I was downvoted to oblivion on r/malefashionadvice.
All in all, I'm happy with this experience so far. As long as they're willing to keep making adjustments until they get it right, how could I possibly complain? I must say, I'm a 5'6" guy and off the rack suits never fit me well. If Indochino can address the collar roll and sleeve length, that will probably be "good enough" for me.
TLDR Don't order from Indochino unless you're cool with getting a bunch of remakes over the course of half a year. Also please help me understand where the fit is good and where the fit is bad.

- The most egregious issue is the collar roll on the jacket. This is visible from the back perspective of the jacket, as well as from the side perspective. Perhaps the problem is that I have broad shoulders. Also, it seems like the angle at which the shoulders and arms are cut isn't ideal for my body.
- The length of the jacket sleeves is too short. I'm not an expert tailor, so you tell me how much longer they should be. I'm guessing they should be about 0.8 inches longer.
- There is shoulder bite on both shoulders. The upper area of the jacket should follow the lines of my arms. This is most visible from the side perspective of the jacket.
- The pant pockets are popping out. They should lie flat with the pants.
- The butt is too saggy. The pants should come in slightly tighter just around the butt, just below the butt, throughout the thigh.
- The upper back of the jacket isn't flush with my body. This will likely be resolved simultaneously with the collar roll.

- The collar roll still exists. I don't think that this is acceptable for any MTM suit.
- They overdid the sleeves. Now they're maybe 0.5 inches too long? It's hard to say. Does anyone have advice?
- The shoulder bite is a bit better. Is it great? Probably not. It's hard for me to say. This is pushing the limits of my experience.
- The pant pockets are still popping out. They should lie flat with the pants. What should I tell them such that they don't make this mistake again?
- IMO my butt looks pretty good now. Thoughts?
- The upper back of the jacket is a bit better. Again, this is pushing the limits of my experience. I'm not sure what to say.
- u/badger0511 The reason the pockets on your pants are popping out and the vent is spread on your jacket is because they're not correcting their too small of hip measurement. They corrected the back rise to eliminate the saggy butt, but they should have added an inch or three to the hip area on your jacket and your pants.
