More collar gaps on the coats of Kirby Alison

The front angle shows trouble ahead.

Comes right off the neck here with little effort.

Am enjoyable video by Kirby today.

Sadly the young bloke has his usual collar gap on a coat supposedly from one of the best tailors in London. Off at the sides and off at the back.

Those awful low coat collars my tailor warns me about. Easy to come off the neck.

Hello everyone, first post, but I've enjoyed the site over the years. Not sure why I felt compelled to make this my first, but I've watched a few of Kirby's videos and I have to ask, does anyone feel that he is getting much value for the large amounts of money (I assume) he's spending on his bespoke suits? I would expect to see a little better overall fit. He seems to favor somewhat basic, conservative fabrics, doesn't appear to be a terribly difficult fit, slightly above average height, thin, nothing that they need to go overboard to conceal. Of course, one motivation is to make a video, but I would think that MTM would give him just about the same results he's achieving at about a third of the price.

But pimping bespoke makes him a higher level influencer.

I am sure that's true. I have nothing against his clothing choices. They all seem to be solid wardrobe staples, navy pins, greys, glen plaids, etc. Maybe that's a good thing. However, I've seen enough of his videos to believe that he isn't so much trying to be a clothing influencer as someone who enjoys cosplaying the lifestyle of an English aristocrat. His videos seems to focus on expensive cigars, fountain pens, vintage watches, English men's clubs, an odd foray into shooting, a grand tour of Italy, any of the things that he believes a "gentleman" should be interested in. What sort of comes through, is whether or not he had a passion (or even an interest) in doing any of these things before he got into you tubing or if this is just a way to make a buck.

It is indeed cosplay but if it were just that, he would not need to pimp it so hard.
