I read about a high profile arrest recently and I think I know who the person is. The media are not giving a name but I may know the person. Is there a way to search up-coming court dates or arrest logs in another state online?

It's a minor prostitution case, but because of his position it's a big deal. Still, I'll give it a go ...

Once convinced of a misdemeanor or whatever it is, will the name then be available? Are they able to suppress the name because the person is in a 'sensitive position'?
 
What kind of prostitute? Prostitution is pretty much acceptable amongst the elites these days. Just look at the honourable Member of Parliament, Keith Vaz in the UK, he got filmed attempting to procure cocaine for a rent boy he just paid for and he's walking around the House of Commons like he owns the place.
 
It is illegal in most states. Plus people with a top secret security clearance and ethics clauses generally lose their jobs if they expose themselves to blackmail and embarrass their agency.

This story was widely syndicated last week. I'd rather not put details in this thread but a quick google will reveal the scandal.

I just want to know if it's the person I suspect it is.
 
Why would using prostitutes necessarily expose you to blackmail? You may go straight to the authorities.

I changed my view on prostitution when I lived in Brazil where it was socially acceptable that the middle class male will go on Sunday afternoon to a whore house. No stigma attached. Of course, the prostitutes there are not drug addled junkies like in the UK and USA.

From this perspective, I remember Frank Bough who was an English television presenter who's career ended when he had a prostitute and cocaine scandal in the early 80s. Reality is, he did nothing really wrong with the exception of the cocaine as a class A drug and the damage was to himself alone. He should have held the line and said, yes, so what? His career did not deserve to end over this. Especially, as I posted previously you have Keith Vaz, a notorious deviant, still a member of the Labour Party and Member of Parliament. Indeed, he sits on ethics committees!

A. It is illegal. In some professions you will be fired for ANY criminal record.

B. Ethics clause. Bad judgment, impulsiveness, lack of self discipline, self fulfillment priorities- plus the possibility if foreign honeytrap agents, etc. remember this is puritans America.

C. Leak us operational information or we tell your wife what you've been doing.

It probably won’t happen. The only solid votes are Thomas and Alito (obviously the Democratic appointees will be on the other end) but it really is anyone’s guess with Roberts and the three Trump appointed judges.

And even if it does happen, the SOCIALIST government in Austria just renewed a ban on abortion after 12 weeks. There is nothing oppressive about a 15 week ban.

If they had any balls they would rule that fetuses are protected under the 14th amendment (which trumps the bullshit ”privacy rights” they have thrown around), but you won’t have to worry about that.

Enough with the American exceptionalism, which is often just barbarism and butchery. Let the United States join the more civilized world across the pond and be a regime that resembles something humane—same with criminal justice reform and the like, where we are again a terrible outlier.

As a man of the left I’d be fine with women doing whatever they feel is necessary with their own bodies and us staying the fuck out of it. Full bodily autonomy, no exceptions.

Roe is far from dead. And even if it does die, congress will likely pass a law that nullifies this Texas law (and other comparable laws)--and things will go on largely as they have (and failing that they will likely pack the court to insure that the industry of death continues).

Even Larry Tribe, RBG, and nearly any honest person knowns that Roe is a bullshit decision. The only way to defend it is by arguing stare decision and reliance interest—the merits are not so sound.
