NBA 2023-2024 Season

Raptors are 2-6. One of my mates wanted to go watch either them or the Leafs and I said Raptors...now I'm not so sure even if the tickets are cheaper.

They’re tanking this year. No point unless you’re going to watch the other team or get cheap tickets.

They lost to the Kings again. Tanking because rebuilding means playing draft lottery and hoping you win for 2 ...3 years in a row? There's a new CEO at MLSE and he just said Masai is the man.

2-10. Basement of the league. Now I have to buy tickets when they play the Heat in December.
 
So I didn't know the 76ers were doing worse than the Raptors. I guess Nick Nurse isn't uniquely gifted.
 
I missed the sixth win of the season from the Raptors. Reckon my mate was in the States given the palm trees in his photographs.
 
Raptors are 14th of 15th alongside the 76ers in wins. I guess we can say this season we aren't the Wizards.
 
Raptors 7 and 24 and losing to Hawks with a 9 game losing streak. Another game I could have went to with my mate but I opted not to mention it. Besides he's at the ballet today.
 
Raptors hosting Bucks. Just walked by the stadium and it seems like a ghost town outside. Could be the polar vortex or the fact the only draw is ex Raptors players visiting. Gary Trent Jr today.

I just read a lengthy article into Scottie Barnes in a local magazine. He was/is supposed to be *THE* man?

It also went into how he felt the younger players rallied around him when the ‘old guys’ like Siakam, OG Anuoby and Van Vleet were around. Really? I didn’t hear about him at that time. Only that Siakam and/or Van Vleet were not carrying the team. No one said at that time it was the Scottie Barnes team.
