All The Reasons Why Florida Is #1

What a Princess!
"while she performed oral sex on her boyfriend in his vehicle.Marks said she was unable to see the children"
well, duh.

her name is Princess. that tells you everything. a Bernice would never do such a thing

1. A 12 year old having a firearm in public is not part of a "spontaneous killing."
2. "Video from two stores in the center showed two youths there about 2:25 a.m. then run behind the buildings about six minutes later with their shirts over their heads"

3. Pro-tip: don't be homeless.

As a side angle to this story, I like the way the names of even juvenile offenders are release to the public.

In Canada, the little fucks' identities are protected even if raised to adult court. The police don't even release the name of stores that are robbed, lest it turn business away.

Blessed Are The Swingers: Christian Couple Share Partners, Word of God

Devout Christians looking to spread the word of God sometimes need to get creative about where they're preaching—after all, anywhere could be the right place to convert an unbeliever. So why not discuss Bible verses with the guy you've invited over to fuck your wife?

For Florida couple Dean and Christy Parave, their swingers' lifestyle doesn't conflict with their deeply-held Christian beliefs. Rather, it provides an outlet where they can share the gospel (along with sexual partners). "I'm getting to people that probably never even visited church," says Dean. "Hey, God's not gonna put a lion with a bunch of elephants, so what's he gonna do? He's gonna put a swinger with a bunch of swingers to spread his word."

Preach.

Christy is solidly on board: "I feel like right now, this is God's plan."

Married in 2007, the couple initially started swinging without intending to bring their faith into the picture, until Dean realized that they "could do a lot of good with this." Both avid gym-goers, they're also behind the site FitnessSwingers.com.

Dean believes deeply in his non-traditional missionary work: "If I can go to the next swinger's event and get 10 people to believe in Christ...my job is done."

It's probably not. Never underestimate the power of people to rationalize their sexual desires.

Where are your 11 year old kids at 1AM on a Sunday? In Miami, they're at the club!

Police: 15 hurt in Miami nightclub shooting
By KELLI KENNEDY

MIAMI (AP) — A shooting sent terrified patrons scrambling from a Miami nightclub early Sunday and left 15 people wounded, including an 11-year-old child, authorities said.

When Miami police and rescue crews arrived at a club called The Spot around 1 a.m., they said they found chaos among the large throng of adults and teenagers gathered there. Rescuers found wounded people inside and outside the club, some too hurt to flee, Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll said.

He told The Associated Press that the first emergency crews arriving on the scene were warned to use caution "because there was still active shooting taking place in the area."

One person was reported in critical condition and the other victims remaining in the hospital were in "stable" condition, said police spokeswoman Frederica Burden, without elaborating. Some victims had also been released, but Burden said she did not know how many.

Some people were running, "people were screaming, people were saying they were shot," Carroll said, adding others were yelling for help for friends who had been shot.

One male was found unresponsive and not breathing when emergency responders arrived. Five girls between 11 and 17 years old also suffered gunshot wounds, Carroll said.

Details were sparse in the hours after the shooting. Investigators sought to piece together what happened in what was described as a scene of confusion.

"The investigators are still interviewing witnesses. They're going from hospital to hospital," Burden said, noting that the victims had been cooperative.

She said it was not immediately clear how many shooters were involved or what prompted the violence. Police had not made any arrests as of Sunday afternoon, and had not publicly identified any suspects.

"We're reaching out to the community now to find out if anyone knows anything or saw anything," Burden said.

Many young people were at the site; at least three of the wounded were transferred to a pediatric unit, Carroll said.

"What was very surprising to the responders was that these were kids that were out at 1 o'clock in the morning in a club and this type of violence took place where a bunch of kids were gathering," he said. "It's very disturbing to see that."

Investigators are interviewing the club owner to determine what type of club The Spot is and why so many underage children were there, said Burden, who noted that she had never heard of the venue despite having worked in the neighborhood for years.

"Was it a private party? Was it open to the public? That's what we're trying to figure out," she said.

Fire Rescue officials also will check on what kind of gatherings the club is licensed for, if any, Carroll said.

A phone number for the club was out of service Sunday.

Shortly after the shootings, police and other emergency officials cordoned off the outside of the club with yellow crime scene tape and emergency vehicles blocked the street in front of the site.

I wish they had pics. Part of me cheers for the entrepreneurs in this story, but the moralist in me is a bit offended.

Pinellas Park police: Man accidentally shoots himself during argument
  • By Josh Solomon, Times Staff Writer

PINELLAS PARK — A man arguing with his wife and threatening to shoot a family dog early Tuesday accidentally shot himself in the face and died, Pinellas Park police said.

Paramedics tried to treat Dennis Eugene Emery, 57, but he was declared dead at the scene.

Authorities said Emery was arguing with his wife, Francisca, in their home at 5271 87th Ave. N about 6 a.m. Emery was upset because he could not find his lighter, police said.

He picked up a revolver and threatened to shoot the dog, pulling back the hammer on the gun to emphasize his threat, police said. Later, as he tried to release the hammer, the gun fired while Emery had it pointed at his face.

Emery has had 34 contacts with Pinellas Park police since 2012, the department said. He recently was arrested three times in six days: Oct. 12 for domestic battery; Oct. 15 on charges of aggravated assault and resisting arrest; and Oct. 17 on a charge of leaving the scene of a crash. Those cases were pending at the time of his death.

State records show Emery was convicted of drunken driving in 1977; carrying a concealed weapon in 1978; and disorderly conduct and public intoxication in 1983. He was charged with domestic violence in 2013, but the case was dropped, according to records.

Times news researcher Carolyn Edds contributed to this report.

No love for strolling naked man in Stuart
December 9, 2014 by wgreenlee

Anthony Smith said his mom won’t let him watch porn in the house.

“Instead, he goes outside nude and walks around hoping that someone will see him,” an arrest affidavit states.

Anthony Smith

That’s what Smith, 21, told Martin County Sheriff’s deputies Nov. 14 when they went to the 1900 block of Southeast Monroe Street in Stuart for a report of a nude dude.

Two people shortly after 1 p.m. said they saw Smith standing in his yard. He had no clothes on and was masturbating.

When a sheriff’s lieutenant pulled up, he noticed Smith “bending down naked in the driveway.”

“The suspect then stood up and ran back to his home next door,” the affidavit states.

He went inside and got dressed.

He told deputies his mother won’t let him watch pornography in the house. He said he walks around naked outside and hopes someone sees him, saying it’s a “high.”

It may not have been a “high” for Smith to be taken to jail.

Smith, of the 1900 block of Southeast Monroe Street in Stuart, was arrested on an exposure of sexual organs charge.

And tons of homosexuals and Cubans.

Well I don't pay attention to the first ones.

Usually around here the most loved places from the US are: New York, Miami and Las Vegas. I mean, those are the places that everybody wants to go and from reading some posts those are the not-so-liked states from Americans.

Miami is basically a different country than the rest of Florida. You can't really count it.

Miami is the NYC of the Latin world. If you're into sweat, Salsa and women that gesticulate more than they should under the threat of normal conversation, it's gold.

Miami its weird as fuck, because certain things are ghetto as fucks, but then you have these raging homosexuals called 'hipsters' that think its cute and artsy. That being said though. I love the view from where I am.

There really aren't that many hipsters there. You'll see a few scattered around, and a handful in the art district, but overall not that many.

Well I'm in brickel/south beach area and damn, that's a lot of them. I just sw these transport containers called "micro theaters" come on

Duo's Phony Heart Attack Scheme Foiled
Redd Foxx act employed during toy heist

  • DECEMBER 17--A Florida thief last week faked a heart attack inside a Walmart so that a male accomplice could walk out of the store with a shopping cart stuffed with toys, including a motorized Barbie Power Wheel, police report.

While the diversion proved initially successful, the pair was arrested yesterday on grand theft charges when they were linked to the crime via surveillance footage.

According to a Polk County Sheriff’s Office report, Tarus Scott, 30, and Genard Dupree, 27, entered the Lake Wales Walmart together and filled a cart with $369.94 in merchandise. As seen on the below store surveillance video, the men separated after the cart was loaded.

As Scott moved toward the exit with the merchandise, Dupree dropped to the floor and clutched his chest. With Dupree doing his best Fred Sanford imitation, Scott walked past his sidekick. The fake heart attack, cops noted, “appeared to be done in an attempt to create a distraction long enough for
    barbietheftheartattack.jpg
Scott to exit the store, past all points of sale, without paying for the merchandise in the cart."

Dupree’s heart trouble lasted 44 seconds before he was able to get to his feet and amble out of Walmart. He met up with Scott in the parking lot and the pair drove away in an SUV.

A subsequent police review of surveillance footage resulted in the identification of Dupree and Scott. Dupree is currently on felony probation for theft, while Scott is an ex-con who was released from prison last year after serving about a decade for armed robbery.

Pictured in the above mug shots, Dupree (left) and Scott are being held in the Polk County jail for felony grand theft. (1 page)

Florida comes up with interesting idea!
Some clerks ax nuptials so they won't have to marry gays
ACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Clerks in at least five Florida counties say they'll end courthouse weddings for everyone so they won't have to marry same-sex couples starting next week.
They'll still be forced to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, thanks to U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle's ruling on New Year's Day. His Thursday ruling clarifies that all 67 Florida court clerks should begin issuing the licenses starting Tuesday, when a stay expires on Hinkle's original decision invalidating the state's ban on same-sex marriage expires.

"I believe marriage is between a man and a woman," Ronnie Fussell, Duval County clerk of courts, told The (Jacksonville) Florida Times-Union. "Personally it would go against my beliefs to perform a ceremony that is other than that."

So Fussell, who goes to a Southern Baptist church, and clerks in Baker, Clay, Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties say they'll stop marrying both opposite- and same-sex couples.

Staffers in Duval County married their final couple Friday — at least until lawmakers or the courts decide to compel clerks offices to offer weddings for all couples. Other counties will stop at the end of the day Monday before the new rules go into effect.

"In the courthouse, there was a room specifically for these ceremonies that taxpayers paid for, and now no one is going to get the benefit of that," said Jacksonville lawyer Belkis Plata of Plata Schott Attorneys & Counselors at Law.

“I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. Personally it would go against my beliefs to perform a ceremony that is other than that.”

Until now, the Duval County Clerk of Courts Office offered couples the option of a $30 ceremony right after they qualified for their $93.50 marriage license. Florida residents have a three-day waiting period for a marriage license unless they pass a premarital preparation class from a registered provider, and Duval County knocks more than $30 off the fee if they certify that they've had the course. (At least one online provider is touting its course as a way to avoid delays in obtaining a license.)

More than 3 in 5 Florida voters approved a state constitutional amendment in 2008 that prohibited same-sex marriage. But a series of rulings from judges in the state has found the ban to be a violation of the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment guarantees of equal treatment and due process.

State Attorney General Pam Bondi has appealed of Hinkle's ruling, but the U.S. Supreme Court has refused to issue a stay while the lawsuit plays out.

Without a county court clerk to serve as an officiant, couples in the affected counties will have to find an ordained minister, judicial officer or notary public to marry them, according to Florida state law.

Synthetic khat.

Sounds like it's quite a bit stronger than genuine khat/qat. You've got to chew a huge bunch of leaves for ages to get a buzz from that stuff. Men in Yemen walk around with a huge ball of leaves in their cheek, like lop-sided squirrels.

Should have been more clearer. Takes the active ingredient and effects of khat and amplifies it exponentially. Potent in small doses and so new that no one really has a handle on it. Latest Chinese synthesized cathinone

Sorta like coca leaves, except for mussies.

Oh don't worry, there will be a lot of folks in clinical trials, you can be sure of that. They'll have the doses right for British tourists in Thailand and American college kids by the end of the week.

Didn't need to wait until the end to know those were Florida tags.
