SartodiNapoli's Shirt, Tie & Pocket Square Company

I hear that the Bish secretly purchased one. might just be a rumour though.

Hi

Got today 45 new Italian prints to do ties, and check out my 12 fold handrolled made in Naples by me tie.

Those fabrics would make Stevie Wonder flinch. Are all Spanish apprentices in Naples colorblind?

Hi i got 100 more models and tons in yelloW. please pm me as from my mobile can't upload.

He is not my competitor because i am a real macho, a real tiemaker who cuts myself and not a tackyscammer rimming.

Best

Also have a vault of horrors or cave of treasures with pseudo vintage stuff as this interesting Fossatti garzas.

Dated horrid cacarrutti style from.the 80s is available for those only interested in historical fabrics, not intended for wearing yourselves by any reason but in Carnival

Note, first yellow pic were pochettes.

Now 12 fold handrolled unlined and 7 folds. Note, due to the light weight
of printed silks vs. jaquards and lack of interlining on the tip, shapes can't be as perfect than usual ties or heavy silks.

Your hand rolling is good.
But your fabric buying/curation needs a ton of work. Not sure why you've got a hundred different light greens and yellows which no one will buy and not an even range of navy, burgundy, chocolates, darker forest green and olives, rusty oranges and the like. These are staple colours that will sell through.

I don't understand post as Henry C saying no one would buy those when i already sold 5 in a day, and about the usual colors, i said i got mpre than 150 references.

per example i expent 300 euros yesterday in a Holland & Sherry Donegal cashmere blend at 150 e meter, my most expensive fabric yet. Also a pure camel in heavy weight. Can't post all my things to not abuse Rambo.

You need to invest in a good camera and lens combo, like Cerrutti did, and you will be in business

I only have my mobile phone on Italy, can't bring my computer or heavy equipment. I sell real handmade stuff on top quality and some made on exactly the same places than then put a brand tag and charge triple.
Cacarruti sold smoke on a cute envelope. I sell the real stuff with no fake marketing or silicone boobs.

Those top two pictures have some lovely patterns in them.
On tv, the Rome's mayor on a red jaquard as mines, 12 fold. Holland & Sherry Navy Donegal cashmere blend, 150 euros meter! My most expensive tie fabric yet. And 100% pure camel .

That red and blue tie are insane. I have to be honest, I have yet to own a tie, do you sell them by any chance?

Bonacera famiglia mia

That's what I mean about curation, sorry if there is a language barrier there. Simply, I mean there is no need to have 150 different fabrics with 20 similar green neats in similar patterns and colours when 5 is more than enough. 20 Navy's sure, people buy a lot more navy than green or yellow. These are all things you'll learn though.

I'll echo what sanchopanza said above about the camera, you simply cannot run a professional business over the internet with poor quality, out of focus images regardless of how "real" your products are if you can't capture that for the average punter looking on his computer screen. The 300eu you spent on that fabric above could be fairly easily spent on an entry level DSLR camera which will give you a great return in the long run.

This is true. Besides the cluttered vendor inventory, it leads to option paralysis for the indecisive potential purchaser.

Well you both have convinced me, i have at home a digital camera a bit old but i have mastered the settings and can get, on my possibilities, a close to real pics. In fact i spent a full week picturing all the shirting books, more than a meter wide on a rack! And tweaking them on iphoto. My shirting customers congrated me for it. But sadly i can't bring my mac to Italy as got no dsl or barely come home to eat and out since early in the morning on different factories and tailoring houses. Just do it all with my already to burn mobile phone. Gheyanni did nothing but collecting hemorroids, well i am sure he already had lol, spamming the internet or hyping a single tie all the week as he is not worried about tailoring but selling fakely ties he ordered to others. Not my business idea but improving is the key.

Sorry i meant i only come home to sleep, not to eat as i said.

Are bad those pics?
The camera i was saying is a Panasonic C5 with Leika sense, is ok?

. But the important is the light and i got bad light both here or on the tie factory.

I am not an expert on cameras, but I would go to a professional store and explain them that I need to take close ups of pieces of clothing and I am sure they would suggest the right lense and filters

Yes, lighting is the most important. You can make your own lighting setup for pretty cheap. You also should get a dummy mannequin to show your shirts on.

I just got the one that I ordered, and the rolled edge is very impressive. Easily the tightest, most even rolled edges of anything that I have. I'm pretty sure the stitch count is higher than I'm used to as well. Pretty good deal for excellent work.

My case was unusual. I'll let him explain it, but I ordered at a bad time near his travels and shipping was entrusted to others and from order date to receipt was exactly two months.
He gave the option of leaving one white self edge, and I liked the idea. I figured this would be raw, unsewn. It was sewn and rolled.

Yes, i made it on a few days but let it at home thinking some relative will ship it. I should have take it with me instead. 4 new yellow silk and similar in orange. The ties ordered last week are getting shipped this week, but i doubtthe usual would be delivering on a few days or in almost two months but an intermediate.
