My sleepwear is usually from Bonsoir of London, British Boxers, Liberty, Derek Rose and Hanro. I have tried PJ Pan but they are very low quality although made in the UK. I have a few nice Terry towel bath robes, but I don't have a lightweight cotton or linen dressing gown. I would imagine I would use this over my pj's. However Victorian men wore them over their normal day wear.

I think the T&A types are poor value, strangely T&A is less expensive than N&L. I haven't checked the prices of Budd and The Mechant Fox.

Bonsoir had a great version in an Instagram post, but I can't see anything I like on their website.

However, I have seen these. No idea where they are made, but they are Egyptian cotton. I will send an email tomorrow:

Value proposition is always subjective, so it can be hard to have a shared language on that.

I don't have any experience with Bonsoir so I really can't comment there, but I have a lot of Derek Rose items. While Turnbull is expensive and not a great value proposition in my opinion, it's significantly better than Derek Rose. Honestly, Derek Rose is pretty pretty much garbage relatively speaking. Their fabrics are just trash. I've basically sworn DR off.

Budd and Fox are a little less than Turnbull generally, and easily as good. Budd Boxers are absolutely phenomenal. I think they make basically all of them from Alumo fabric. Their pyjamas are definitely my favorite as well, I have a set of their signature stripe, and a linen they have sourced which is top shelf.

No nighttime nudists on the forum? Such a waste of money.

Bown of London is made in Turkey.

Interesting. Budd makes their pyjamas in London, I think Fox in Spain. Turnbull would make them at their shirt factory I would imagine?

By the way Justo Gimeno (same as the teba discussion) makes some beautiful robes. I got a lovely linen one last time I was in Madrid, and I’ve owned a flannel one for a while as well.

I'd be very interested on THE FOO and his take on (superior) sleepwear
Bottom line for him is it must cost an obscene amount of money, the maker must be as exclusive as possible, and he has to be able to either brag about it on social media or complain about the smallest of things.

Must be 'street' too. I'm guessing alpaca graphic onesie. The graphic will say Sex Machine, something like that

Revival of the dressing gown?

This one is from Sulka, actually a defunct brand. I don't know if Mr Porter, which commercialise some products labelled as Sulka has bought the rights.

I sleep in my birthday suit.

I keep a pair of boxers near the bed now in case I need to run out in a hurry.

I have a short cotton gown in navy with red and white overcheck from Maison Marcy. I certainly need a winter version as well.

I've got 3 vintage Japanese ankle length kimonos - 2 lined - one light cotton and 1 x Target navy fleece type knee length dressing gown.

Burgundy Drapers sheepskin suede sole slippers or some soft German driving shoes to the feet.

Mostly long sleeved long legged oversized pure cotton pyjamas to cover my magnificent body and help ladies who would otherwise be overcome with desire.
