My sleepwear is usually from Bonsoir of London, British Boxers, Liberty, Derek Rose and Hanro. I have tried PJ Pan but they are very low quality although made in the UK. I have a few nice Terry towel bath robes, but I don't have a lightweight cotton or linen dressing gown. I would imagine I would use this over my pj's. However Victorian men wore them over their normal day wear.
I think the T&A types are poor value, strangely T&A is less expensive than N&L. I haven't checked the prices of Budd and The Mechant Fox.
Bonsoir had a great version in an Instagram post, but I can't see anything I like on their website.
However, I have seen these. No idea where they are made, but they are Egyptian cotton. I will send an email tomorrow:
