I made a left under a red light today right in front of a cop and the pig didn't do shit.

Man did I feel like turning on some hip hop and reclining the seat back a few inches, then cocking my hand over the top of my steering wheel.
 
Rain was forecast yesterday and I went out without a hat, coat, or umbrella. I did not get away with it and was reminded why I usually am in full old-man mode about being prepared for the weather.
 
Decided to guess that I had enough gas to get home the 100 miles from a road trip and just to add to the adventure, took the back roads so I would not have the luxury of gas stations along the way.

Made it just.

Just less than a quarter tank. Tundra got 21 mpg at 75 mph. Holds 85 litres. Took 85 litres when I filled up.

Fuck you Ford, Chevy & Dodge!
 
What do they list the usable fuel capacity in the specs? Between the pumps cutting off early and that gallon or more that never gets sucked up, I've never been able to pump listed capacity into a tank.
The gas light goes on when there is a gallon or so left, right? Having dinkier vehicles, that's easily 20 miles if one doesn't worry about pump cooling.

Good question. I will have to check the specs. I think reserve is 2 U.S. Gallons (I use imperial gallons in calculations which is about 16% larger), so I know I have a conservative estimate of about 30 miles when the light comes on. Light was on for quite a while. I also overfill as a rule past the automatic pump shut off.

In the past, the most I have put in was 82 litres so when the pump kicked out at 85l I was surprised.
 
Farted while on a stroll during a date. Waited for some cover noise and the right wind direction but it was still tense for a second afterwards. One small spiral gust and I was done for.
 
Tomorrow I will be drining an hour to attend a fundraiser where I should be on the guest list, or "comped." It's $100 a plate otherwise. I am very apprehensive!
 
Was in a piece of shit all day meeting today. Sat at the back. I had a lunch coma so I dozed off for a minute intentionally. Felt awesome when I woke.
 
I stole sunflowers from Safeway earlier today. Bought 2, self checked out just one. (thumbs nose at the man)
 
I may just have to give up my membership here. I pay sticker price for veggies & spits.

I like stickin' it to to the Man and all but what about the poor tomato and sunflower seed harvesters in Utter Pradesh or wherever we import this shit from? Who's looking out for their best interests when you have your eyes peeled for security, huh?

Hopefully there are no young'uns skulking about and learnin' bad habits.

And if there are, I apologize for cussin'. OfficePants and Jimmy are bad influences.

I bought a pair of socks at the dollar store. 97% polyester or something.
I wore them for about five minutes before they were too hot and I had to take them off.

The woman, for some inexplicable reason, loves them. I am hoping to break her of it, but it is an arena that is new and vaguely interesting, if sad and disappointing, to me.
You do get even less than you pay for there. It's truly a sucker's game.

A buck was my threshold for this experiment. I had a feeling how it would go.
 
So I haven't showered in 2 days, no Right Guard either. I've been fucking around with the house and plants all day, and boy, am I ripe. So I decided not to shower and to hit the nursery in this condition. When I got there, I made sure everyone took note.

I got 1 :holyfeck: at my essence that I noticed, but there had to be a few more. It was a triumph of the spirit. All Eastern Europeans should be proud of me.
