Some good news...
News - Paul Sargent Shoes launched - Shoegazing.com
When Alfred Sargent went into liquidation last winter, fourth generation of the founding family, Paul Sargent, quickly announced that he was leading ashoegazing.com
I like the top of these , but the sole and heel look so thin! Some good news...

From what I understand, the online firm that bought Alfred Sargent was Herring , who do a lot of business. Sargent were the makers of their 'Royal' line, and if they have bought the company, then we can assume that the intention is or was to continue and perhaps to produce other Sargent shoes under their name.Surely there would be a market for shoes like that, they just need to have the right type of people find that market. Like with Fosters and Grenson, Alfred Sargent have no name recognition.

Boot Black Sneaker Care!anyone have a recommendation for a good sneaker cleaner?
i don't know shooey. if you're going to go full croc i think you'd want something sleeker than these gunboats.I almost bought this the other day off a reseller.
Silvano Lattanzi crocodile hand shoe with 100% hand stitched uppers.
It was going to be costly, but I negotiated a good price. Would have had to apply for a special permit or licence to get it through customs.

See the hand stitched uppers? A masterpiece.

Reluctantly had to be sensible and pull out of the deal. Why? The width probably would have been a hair too narrow. Was almost perfect in size, but maybe 2mm too narrow. Had to be disciplined and turn it down eventually. Was hard to turn it down....my eyes were bigger than dinner plates for days with hardly any sleep (excited about owning it), but l had to get rational and make sensible decisions. No good having a shoo that almost fits.
Have wanted one of these for years. My ultimate dream shoo. Almost tempted to buy it and keep it as a trophy shoo.
A mate used to own a pair years ago. That started my dream to own one too. Have wanted one for about 10 years. Look.

don't shoot me for this but when i think of croc shoes, not boots, i think of something like this
Those look nice, but are cheap. That skin is full of bone. Caimen.or something like this from carmina
I’m with you don’t get me wrong. I’m just talking about the visual aspect. When I hear “croc shoes” I picture something like those in my mind. Probably due to where I live and all. Those look nice, but are cheap. That skin is full of bone. Caimen.
If l do alligator or croc l want the good ones. I wanna do it right and take it all the way to the top without skimping.
There is definitely a mismatch between a croc skin and the way a croc slithers and slides and the beefeater bully clumpy shoes that Shooey was lucky to miss.I’m with you don’t get me wrong. Or he could be a wrestling fan. Wasn't there once some fatboy professional who called himself Big Daddy?A video l found last night. This fellow must be viewing dressedwell.net because at 39:12 he says "welcome to the BIG daddies".
That was Shirley Crabtree.Or he could be a wrestling fan. Wasn't there once some fatboy professional who called himself Big Daddy?
Let's hope the Big Daddies on the clothing and shoo fora can match Shirley's bust size.Big Daddy was Shirley Crabtree.

Yes,plagiarism is everywhere . I bet fat Shirley Crabtree spent some time in Oz at one time abusing sheep and heard Shooey talking about Big Daddies and then sneakily nicked the name for himself. Such cheek!Shooey invented Big Shoo Daddies as a term. Any reference to it and shoes is all about people reading shooey.
sadly plagiarism and lack of acknowledgment is rife on the net.
