Spluttering in my lapsang souchong, there's none of that malarkey going on around here!

I've always aligned myself with Disraeli: an alliance between the working classes and the landed gentry against the increasing nefarious power of the woke classes.

Sure thing mister suburbanite.

The rise of the suburbs is well documented and for all the right reasons post WWII.

Better to be raised in the suburbs than some inner city sink estate or project. There is simply no competition in terms of life and career expectations.

Good. I'm glad we have settled you are unabashedly middle class.

The Duke of York has marvelous shoos. Many look bespoke English shoos. I really appreciate that he wears black conservative captoe oxfords of impeccable perfection.

Bespokes by both of the Dukes: Probably John Lobb

Pimpernel Smith Pimpernel Smith freaking out
Whilst he did serve with distinction protecting the Falklands from the Argentine junta and invasion, he needs to do the decent thing and retire from public life and all engagements, until such time he is exonerated in court, or in the case of paying the lady off - he needs to open his mouth wide and put a loaded vintage flintlock in there, preferably by candle light for ultimate effect.

The Sultan of Brunei

I like that he likes a nice clean suit, but built with extra room for comfort and easy movement. Clothes should be comfortable and never look like they are painted on.

Some issues going on with his suit here. Trousers and coat are not good. Even the Sultan has dodgy tailors from time to time.

Prince Charles dresses much better than his two sons.

Yes, and apparently he is like the late Princess Margaret who had a taste for the finest of everything. Charles is said to love luxury and fine things, and it shows in his clothing. William and Harry never inherited that luxury gene, it skipped that generation.

Funny enough, I recently learned that Charles' grand daughter is the wealthiest member of the royal family...she is far more wealthy than the Queen.

I didn't know that...

William has a charisma deficit, the recent tour of the Caribbean showed he lacked a Sock it to 'Em J.B. dynamic, where he could defend the benefits of the Commonwealth, shared history and great future.

Then there's Hurry up chip on shoulder Harry. Hustling for money. Vacuous like his wife. And now that Netflix can't dish out dole money, he's got a problem. They're looking for the juice and one way to get that will be to go back to the UK and cause a scene with all the cameras. Reality television royalty gone bad style. We shall see.

Honestly looks like he buys his suits at Men's Warehouse.

A well dressed royal family, wearing all quality stuff. The Queen has a top notch walking stick too. Apparently Charles and the Duchess love their luxury, nothing but the best for them. Have always loved those big rope thingies that Charles wears...wish l had one, but where would l wear it?!? :areyoukiddingme:

I find William's suits pretty disappointing. Slim lapel, short jacket, narrow shoulders, collar gap and these awful lavender ties. The shoes are nothing to write home about either. Anyone knows his tailor? Looks like he's one some sort of budget stuff or maybe they try to make him look more fashionable. His son looks far better and more natural and he's a child.

100% agreed. William's style has never been great, too modern and breaks the traditional rules. I understand William's never went bespoke for much of his clothing, he chose a designer brand. In that photo it does look like a custom suit done in a very average way. He has collar gap too.

Here he is at Royal Ascot.

- trousers not high on the waist
- no break in trousers and wrong type of pattern trousers
- big Johnny Lobb wingtips
- top hat is so short (a modern silly looking version IMO)

Just noticed....look at his hemmed trousers. This is not top tailoring. These kids have no idea.

Kate's dress is impeccable.
I notice he has his Brigg.
