And he absolutely should break up the 9th circuit.

These retards are creating a situation where the least accountable branch is becoming the most powerful. These liberal activist judges are using the bench for ideology which is masked as judicial rulings.

The strategy is to grind things down to a halt, as everyone knows these idiotic decisions will never survive, and the goal is to slow things down.

This 9th circuit seems to be the center of this, so it should proactively be broken up to stop this foolishness.

Have you considered the possibility that the judiciary are actually putting a brake on the over-reach of the executive branch?

This is, after all, why a good democracy should ensure the separation of powers, so that there are checks and balances on executive power.

Why were there no brakes placed on the last 16 years? Why now?

Also, if you read the decisions, the logic of the arguments is astonishingly bad. It's judicial activist trash.

The judiciary, unlike the executive arm, cannot act unilaterally. It requires someone to actually appeal before it can act.

Perhaps no-one in the US lodged an appeal against the Obama administration using drones to fire thousands of missiles at people in the Middle East?

I don't know, but if that's the case, doesn't it represent a really negative leap in obstructionism? Obama's use drones was blatantly illegal...
