Loving the finger wagging.
Indeed, the socialist intelligentsia mindset in action completely: humanity close-up i.e. a baby crying....get the 'eff off my lawn!

These are the plausible mediocrities who will lead us....or shall I say....my kids generation, first into dormitories and then into gulags and Cultural Revolution.

That's why Donald Trump whether you like his style of delivery or not, is so essential in the ongoing culture war and fight against eco-feudalism i.e. the 1% travel around on private jets lecturing the rest of us on how we must live diminished and very expensive lives.

what's the point you're trying to make here? that's she's a dope?
That she's confusing 2 different economists: Milton Friedman and John Maynard Keynes, often referred to simply as just Maynard Keynes.

Funnily, there is also a New Town in England called Milton Keynes. They are spelled the same, but have different pronunciations. Maynard Keynes' surname is pronounce to rhyme with Baines, whereas the Keynes in the town is pronounced Keens.

She's a vacuous, loudmouth, know-nothing. The Lefts answer to Trump, hence the perfect politician for the times we live in.

We have one over here called Grace Blakeley. A public school girl, toy-town socialist huckster. Writes a book on banking without a fundamental understanding of how banks actually operate and she's lauded for it.

Naomi Wolf, another one...

One could go on and on naming these grifters. And that's what they are. Fucking grifters.

Yes i know the difference between the two. The woman in the video has an economics degree. Did you know that?

No, but is doesn't surprise me. As previously said, Grace Blakeley (PPE - Politics, Philosophy & Economics at Oxford) writes book about banks, but doesn't understand how they work.

Again, nothing surprises me in this age...

"Buttigieg is expected to get another boost in two days here in New Hampshire, where polls show he's been climbing as moderate voters concerned primarily with beating President Donald Trump appear to be turning away from former Vice President Joe Biden."

The black vote can't come soon enough for Biden.

This is rather apt:

Be interesting to see how that pans out. One thing the EU likes are ineffectual coalitions, like here in the Netherlands, where they can rule by diktats and the activist judges.

Its got nothing to do with 'the great explainer logging on' whatever that is, its that people who are in prominent positions, have access to the mass media, and are invited onto TV pontificating should at least have a basic knowledge of what-the-fuck they are talking about because they are influential in setting national policy/discourse.

Would you let someone design a bridge without even a basic knowledge of structural mechanics? Would you let someone operate on you or a loved one without even a basic knowledge of anatomy? No you wouldn't, so why the fuck should we not hold these tossers to the same high standards as other professions?

They're clueless.

Shouldn't surprise that an organisation called Sinn Fein don't do sharing. Sinn Fein = We Ourselves.

The most intersting part is that people have voted for the political wing of a terrorist organisation. Adams should be rotting in a prison cell, murderous bastard.

No, she didn't have a one-time slip of the tongue.

Firstly, she confuses the names of two of the 20th century's most famous economists, that are in many ways, diametrically opposed.

Secondly, which to me is worse, and telling, she can't pronounce his surname correctly.

And thirdly, you say she has a degree in economics which actually makes it even worse.

Details matter...

Sigh...

Its got nothing to do with her gender, her nationality, or British snobbery (which IS alive an kicking).

Do you not find it odd, that someone who studied for an economics degree and would have been expected to have been familiar with Keynes work, not to know how to pronounce his name? Imagine having studied German literature and not knowing how to pronounce Goethe? It isn't exactly an endorsement of your so-called expertise is it?

A similar type of excuse was used to defend Blakeley by some of her fans, that it was a failure of proofreading. Really?

a degree does not imply a perfect knowledge of anything. not to mention, people make mistakes all the time. hell i called George Michael 'Michael George' the other day. this is a level of indepth minutia that i'd expect from pimpernel.

You brought up the point about her having a degree, not me, probably because you thought it may strengthen your argument, when it actually weakens it.

Look, she's just like Trump, not in her beliefs, but in the way she acts. We have these people in Britain too, across all parties.

You people on the Left need to find yourselves a better calibre of politician or you're fucked long time.

You would expect those who profess to be the next generation of leaders of the free world, those who's mission is to bring radical reworking of the economy and society, whilst publishing books on it would have a sound grounding, grasp and expertise in the chosen field and discipline. What Formby states is correct: how are these idiots being lauded and given publicity and fame well beyond their worth to society?

You people on the Left need to find yourselves a better calibre of politician or you're fucked long time.
Shhhhh! Don't let the cat out of the bag. Let the lauding and praising of the idiots by the liberal establishment and MSM continue.

You should aim high...
better than constantly scraping the floor with people who think hanging out at davos listening to billionaires tell them how to run our lives is a way to govern.

As per the last, very recent referendum on the subject at hand, the Scots are not do dumb, they'll stay in the Union either way. Outside they are just another EU backwater to be placed in usury and asset stripped:

Buttiboy rigging an election via an app he and his campaign manager have shares in, Joe Biden getting a job for his son in the Ukraine?
All child's play.
Meanwhile, back in good old Germany, more precisely in Thüringen (a state in the East of Germany) an official, democratic vote for the prime minister of that state has been reversed because the outcome didn't please Angela Merkel.
Bodo Ramelow, leader of the SED (Socialist Unity Party of the former GDR) follow up party "Die Linke" couldn't secure enough votes to get re-elected. Mostly because the left wing parties (Die Linke, SPD and the Green Party) don't have a majority after the last election.
The centre/ conservative parties voted for the FDP candidate and he won with a simple majority.
Tears and outrage among the left wing MPs.
The very same day, while on a trip through Africa, Angela Merkel announced during a press conference, that the result of the vote was unbearable and needed to be reversed.
Next phase: Antifa showing up, attacking the newly elected prime minister and his family and offices of his party.
Following that, Merkel pressured the FDP leader to make the new PM resign, which he eventually did.
All this because the PM got the votes from AfD MPs. And according to the left wing dogma, they are all Nazis™. Which is kind of stupid, because Nazis™ were socialists. NSDAP was their abbreviation. Nationalistic Socialist German Workers Party. And the AfD is definitely not socialistic.
I'd say, lets hope that global warming comes faster and they can grow bananas in Germany. If only to complete the impression of a banana republic.

She's going to leave Germany and Europe with one toxic legacy and democratic deficit. At least her heir apparent is resigning because no one can stomach her.

Its commonly believed that because the Nazi's has 'Socialist' in its name, that it was a Socialist party. It wasn't. There are, however many commonalities between the Far Left, and Far Right. I wouldn't go as far as subscribing to the horseshoe theory though.
