I'm not going to make too many posts but I wanted to get this one out of the way and make absolutely clear what the rules would be in here. There will be none of the snark and bullshit that's completely taken over what was left of CE. We are very much looking forward to constructive discussion and open, earnest dialogue and disagreement. I mean, just getting rid of Piobaire alone will cut down on 75% of the problem, but no one remains untouched by the madness. If we see your posts being complete snark and no substance, we will first ban you from the thread. If it keeps up, we will ban you from the In The News forum all together. We all have different opinions and ways of looking at things. That doesn't mean we can't come together and discuss them without ruining it for everyone else.

Basically, if you need to tell someone to fuck off, fine. But don't be a dick about it.

We wanted to remind people to please always source their articles with links to the originals and give credit by posting the author's name and a link to the original work.

Also, now that the new software has been implemented, there really isn't any need to spolier your posts. When posting a longform article, just make sure to quote the whole thing. The system will auto collapse the quote into a much smaller box that will allow the reader to expand it if they wish.
