Use this thread as a resource to look up reputable tailors in the various cities in which we live or frequent; people with whom we trust our massive purchases and investments. Not just any clothcutter will do. I can't express how many times a "tailor" is simply a Home-Ec grad and completely unaware of how clothes are supposed to fit and drape...

It's a dearth here in Las Vegas, but I may have finally found someone who's more than a woman doing alterations to bridal dresses. Will take in some pants and report back.

George Siamitras; 2560 East Sunset, #104, Las Vegas, NV. Apparently served as a tailor to Pres. Clinton.

Finally, a man who may know his way around menswear in general.

The tailor I go to make suits/jackets is alright, but nothing amazing. I have an absolutely brilliant alterations tailor, however. So...uhhh....if anyone else is in Seoul, needs something altered, and doesn't mind that it takes for god damned ever....알마니 in Myeondeong is the place to go.

Finally went by Siamitrias today. Establishment is the real deal. Highly recommended for anyone who'll be in Vegas.

My gf's aunt owns a tailor shop where I take my clothes too. There is a local tailor here who does amazing job, but his prices are through the roof.

Rick Covitz, who at one point, was a SF affiliate, has an Italian guy who does his tailoring. I heard good stories about his work.

IMO in smaller cities, such as KC or St. Louis, where sartorial minds are rare, good tailors are hard to find and their prices are extreme high. I am sure it's the opposite in big cities like NYC or LA.
