I have updated my underwear in the last few years taking advantage of summer and winter sales...

My favourite brands are Jockey, Perofil and Hanro.

What's in your underwear draw?

Panama Panama please tell me the quality of the Sunspel briefs? These are now made in Portugal and not Turkey anymore. Are these good, do they stay up?

What about the Perofil?

Where are these sales?

The Sunspel items were bought reduced in a clearance sale. I have ordered a size too big, but unable to return them. The quality is good, I have been criticizing Sunspel for years as they do not have covered waist bands, but these appear covered. They are not the woven boxers. I will probably wear these in bed when abroad.

Perofil are great, although unlike a lot of Italian underwear brands, and there are around 20 to 30, do not manufacture in Italy.

I used two suppliers:

Paola Fiorini
CSP International - parent company.

What determines what shorts you wear at home v abroad?
I wear pj's in the UK as I am a diabetic. However, even I wear boxers when in 30 degrees plus heat. And apart from the recent heat wave, it's very rare here. Unless they shrink, I can see them falling down very often if worn normally...

If US Army surplus underpants are not available then my favourite brand is Jockey. There seems to be a big difference in what they sell in different markets. I bought a box of Jockey pants in NYC and the fit and quality suited me. On return I bought a box of the same model in London and found that they were a different cut and sat much lower on the waist, which didn’t suit me.

I just received another five pairs of these.

Since I switched from 2exist a decade ago, these are still my favorites. A lot of their products are for the young and gay crowd, but you can’t beat the basics. Soft, comfortable and fully supportive, last forever and made in Oz for a decent price. The sales are often a sham - watch how the price goes up and down along with the sale price, but somewhere around $12US and free shipping is good.

I refuse to wear undies that have someone else’s name on them. I detest obnoxious branding in almost every aspect of dress but particularly object to seeing it on skivvies.

So what do you buy? I’d definitely prefer not to have any visible branding as well.

Jockeys and believe it or not H and M have good trunks that don’t have obnoxious waist bands. I think Uniqlo might also but I haven’t tried them.

I just saw DieWorkwear shilling for these, which are 30% off today:

I’m going to go through my undies drawer to see if I need more.

I just ordered some CDLP undies to see what all the hype is about.

Find me on Only Fans: Big Underwear Daddy

Delivered tomorrow. I found a US retailer selling them with free shipping and a discount code, but even then they were close to $30. I like that they do a low-rise square trunk without obnoxious branding and without a fly. I’m skeptical that the fabric is as special as claimed, but curiosity won over.

Report back.
They don’t seem much different from the Tommy John ones up thread. Did you get those too? Either way north of $30 for a pair of skivvies is daylight robbery unless they really do live up to the hype and seriously outperform more run of the mill brands.

No. One birthday splurge on Big Daddy Undies is enough. They seem very similar, both rate highly in reviews as the best - with cdlp maybe edging a little higher. Even though it’s subtle, the TJs still have branding on the waistband. Wearing some dude’s name on my undies is a no for me.

Modal, Polyester and Spandex or Giza cotton. Tough decision.

Report back.

Pros: they look good and feel fantastic on. Soft and well fitting but not tight. Holds everything in place and doesn’t bunch up or stick out about trousers. The fabric is anti microbial and feels silky soft. Holds shape and no signs of pilling after the first wash

Cons: the fabric has zero absorption. If you don’t shake the last drop out, it will go straight through your undies to your trousers. While they may look like the perfect ‘getting lucky tonight’ undies, any pre-game excitement is going to be very noticeable on the outside, given their lack of absorption.

Overall: I like them and may get more if there is ever a great sale, but wouldn’t buy them at retail and would probably still want to keep some cotton trunks in the drawer as well.
