Cohen told lawmakers Mr Trump is a racist.

He said: "He once asked me if I could name a country run by a black person that wasn't a 'shithole.'

"And he told me that black people would never vote for him because they were too stupid. And yet I continued to work for him."


...I guess technically President Obama is half white half black.

Did you think it distracted/detracted from the Cohen testimony? I do. If that was the Republican intention: mission accomplished.

There was never a NorK deal. Trump probably doesn't know that.
 
I read somewhere the President was more interested in the camera setup and stage of meeting Kim than the substance of what to discuss.
 
I caught about 30 minutes of the CPAC rant. I know everyone says he sounded unhinged, but to me it all sounded like fear. I think SDNY has him really scared. This could be the first US president to do jail time.

More alarming is the question of how the Republican Party will ever rebuild after this mess. Pete Davidson seems like a genuine guy, but I don’t think he can rebuild an ideology after the party went chasing a heretic.

It really is a case of nothing is true, everything is permitted. Look how quick a few of the half-dozen Justice Democrat sponsored congress members have been able to shift the overton window and lead the narrative. Just like Labour in the UK, they've injected anti-Semitism into the mainstream in a lightning flash. The forces behind these people don't rest, just look how relentless they are 24/7. Imagine if the Justice Democrats had been able to get the 76 candidates they were sponsoring into your congress!

The answer to decent Democrats and Republicans who want to take on Trump and those who want to stop a communist state developing from the progressive Justice Democrat creed and the inevitable civil war to stop it, is to recognize that you're not in Kansas anymore.

I’m having a hard time following the logic.

Either
a) He’s telling the truth, in which case by posting this he negates any benefit the GOP accrues from voting for transparency (“makes us look good and doesn’t matter”)

or

b) It was an embarrassing bipartisan vote and Trump is making up a ridiculous explanation for it, especially in light of a)

I don’t know which is more likely. Given that it was basically unanimous, which doesn’t seem likely without some intervention, I’m leaning toward a)

Still the same place where I was summer 2017:

Unlikely that there was substantive collusion, very likely that the Trump campaign was aware of a Russian influence campaign and was okay with it.
 
No more indictments re: Russia (and I’m assuming obstruction). Glad it’s over. Dominated headlines for too long, though the possibility of collusion warranted a thorough investigation. I’m glad Mueller isn’t a showman.

I must say that made no sense at all. It's an arrangement of meaningless statements filled with odd suppositions that are not backed up by any evidence at all. Hilary Clinton was behind "Russiagate" and because the Mueller Report did not bring down Trump, then the powers that were supporting Hilary will now "hand her to the wolves"?

I'm entirely lost on how that is meant to flow logically in any way, shape or form.

Isn't that what usually happens? Especially with a loosing candidate?
Now that Russia was not responsible for loosing the 2016 elections, HR is the most likely one to be made responsible.
So I'm sure the MSM/ overlords will slowly remove their support for her and direct the anger of the democrat voters towards her.
While simultaniously promoting a candidate that is totally not like HR.

Exactly, this will not go unpunished. All the orchestration, the promise of blood and how do you expect the likes of Rachel Maddow to continue to whip up future frenzy now she is exposed as a shill and a definite fake news propagandist?

You might not want to understand, you might get lost that it doesn't flow logically....in favour of the narrative, but the promise was that ''Trump would die in jail''.

They've nowhere left to go, a policy vacuum with the exception of the Green New Deal composed by various socialist oddities and enthralled to the Clinton narrative that was deliberately fabricated after the election to protect her failure. Expect more of the same, aided and abetted by the very exposed MSM. All Trump needs to do now is point at the Democrats and his position is vindicated.

Looks like the first domino is about to fall with Michael Avenatti......
