Neither & both.

A leather jacket is not an essential outer layer. Someone wears it because they like the esthetic. If you wear a leather jacket to look like you just jumped off a boxcar as a 21st century hobo but you work in an office, that’s overhyped and you probably paid too much. Unless you buy poor quality knockoffs from the subcontinent and area.

Should we read anything into the fact that you’ve chosen a name for your handle that’s the same name as a notorious Grand Wizard of the KKK? Cos we have more than enough racist fascists populating this board already. (One is more than enough).

Well said. I took a punt on a leather jacket off eBay which looked good in the pics and appeared to be made in America. It was very poor quality and made in Pakistan. And smelled bad. Went straight back and thanks to eBay’s buyer protection I got a full refund and didn’t get stung.

Once again if you bother to tell us exactly what YOU find to be disagreeable we could get some useful debate going. If all you’re gonna do is post pics of dudes in ‘reasonably decent’ threads (at least by today’s standards, compared to the schlubs we see in the streets every day) then you’re contributing almost nothing.
