Hello, friends. I'm here because I need an outlet for my simmering rage against the sartorial atrocities that fill the more popular, more politically correct fashion fora.

Welcome. Looking forward to your outrage.

Whoa, did we have three members actually introduce themselves in the correct thread in one day? Has that happened since the founding days?
:welcome::cheers:

Hi there, I'm a 30 year old Swedish guy who has been lurking for some time to get a feel for the vibe of this place, and decided I like it. I have been at SF (mostly as a lurker) for many years but have lost interest.

Also wishing you a speedy recovery, seamless!

Now off to celebrate midsummer with the family.

That does happen sometimes!
:welcome: gube
Does SF do tagging the same way (put an @ directly before a username and they get alerted that they've been refenced)?

Cheers for the warm welcome guys. To echo some of the sentiments above, I must admit that this place does induce a few involuntary chortles of laughter on a surprisingly regular basis that probably leave my co-workers wondering if their colleague has finally lost his god damn mind. I wouldn't have it any other way, though.

In this poster's humble opinion, there's no better place around on the internet to come and kill some time, have a few laughs and walk away a little more knowledgeable on whatever topic happened to have been discussed that day. I'd liken it to a decent local that you can wander into and have a bit of banter with the regulars, talk a bit of smack, and basically have a laugh with some fellas who share a somewhat of a common interest, but don't appear to take themselves oh so seriously. Once again, my hat's off to Rambo for fostering such a laid back vibe to the place.

LKP - I realise you are probably taking the piss, so all I'll say is that Putin does seem to have a good eye for fine watches. A man who appreciates Patek can't be all bad, right?

LKP is DW's man in the Kremlin.

What ho!

I found my way here having grown tired of the sanctimonious mausoleum that is Ask Andy (the only thing I would ask him is why his forum is so crap) and the sewer of degenerate i-gent unmen that is (No)Style Forum.

My enquiries have confirmed my initial impression - that finally I have found a forum that is the correct balance between exemplary good taste and scurrilous bandinage.

Any doubts I had about signing up were swiftly dispelled by reading Sartodinapoli's igent dictionary. The first page of that thread alone is sufficient to make any forum illustrious.

I look forward to contributing to a forum where members know why Craptom is properly called Craptom (I posted something about not liking his nonsense on one of the other forums, and some lack-wit actually asked me what I had against him), and where people understand that Pitti is the sartorial equivalent of an overflowing chamber pot under the bed of a fornicator in the final stages of syphilis.

Need details on who PSmith is.

I think you will fit in just fine. Just be aware of the Arnathor, some say he trolls this website here and now, but you will find out by yourself.

I'm known for my nom de guerre 'Venezoalien' or 'The Spic' amongst the non political correct crowd

And beware of the guy that will ask if you're pro Kremlin

I've noticed this is a common question, although I confess I don't really understand the point of it. However:

Say what you like about Putin, at least he is a man - not like other so-called 'leaders' like Princess Barack, Van Rumpuy (who looks like an old, wet sock) or our own David Cameron, who apparently is dressed by a committee of tossers based on the opinions of a focus group of spineless bastards.

I can't imagine Putin being scammed by a degenerate tacky profanator of untailoring. He can't wear those really tight trousers because he's got a pair of balls to put in them, and he always has socks on, even when he's got his shirt off. And I bet the only thing he'd use Rubinacci Belgian loafers for is beating dissidents with.

Indeed, this newb is really hitting the ground running. :welcome:

Dammit, this only adds to his delusion that he is the main draw to the forum. Also remember to put the @ in front of his name to summon him from the dungeon.

Bad etiquette. You have to tag Arnathor Arnathor so he knows you're talking smack about him.

Putin and tight trousers, Belgian loafers, and his shirt off. Would make any Russian proud.

Welcome! It is true that for a chunk of time I've not really added much to the forum. It amuses me to some degree but i have my sincere moments of interest. If you care to discuss photography, I'm the one to talk to
