I have around 20 Egyptian 200 to 400 thread count Percale fitted and flat sheets. Most are well-known UK brands. Today my first luxury brand arrived, a Frette fitted sheet in Poplin. I have a Giza 87 from a UK start up that feels amazing.

Today my first luxury brand arrived, a Frette fitted sheet in Poplin.

I’m surprised by this. The poplin shirts I’ve owned haven’t been terribly soft or smooth (not wrinkley).

I bought some flat and fitted sheets years ago based on @Grand Potentate’s recommendations that were great for the price.

I would’ve thought linen would be too rough? I’ve never owned satin sheets but I like the idea … though my wife cringes and says they are too cheesy 70s disco porn like swingers and water beds.

Linen is actually v cozy. You can get linen cotton blends here that are great. What's wrong with 70s disco porn?
