Ok, SPOILERED.

A guy is claiming he saw a leaked preview the first episode of the August episodes of Breaking Bad. Don't know if its real, but spoiler it if you want to read it, it goes line by line thru the episode. I did not read it personally. I you read it, I suggest we not discuss unless identified as such, and then spoilered. Maybe we shouldn't discuss?

Otherwise, thread reserved for discussing the last 8 episodes.

Hank reads message in poem book from gale
Has a few flashbacks to other odd moments with walt
Like when he busted guy he thought was heisenberg and walt just showed up out of nowhere and Interfered him
Hank then has a flashback to marie telling him that walt and skyler paid for his rehab
Has conflicted look on his face
Gets up off toilet looking angry
Ppening credits roll
Cut to jesse sitting on couch alone at his house
Gym bag of money beside him, smoking cigarette
Door bell rings
Answers door
Lydia
She wants him to start cooking again, makes the same offer she made walt
Offers tons of money selling to her czech republic contacts
Jesse outright refuses, says meth brought him pain
Says he will never cook again
Cut back to white residence
Everyone still sitting at dinner table talking
Hank comes out through screen door
sits down and doesn't say anything
hank seems distracted
walt asks him a question about rocks
no response, just blank stare
marie says "you feeling alright"
hank pauses for a second, recomposes himself and says "no, i'm not feeling well, we should probably get going"
walt inquires what's wrong
says his stomach is upset, feeling nauseous
they say goodbye pleasantly and leave
cut scene to marie and hank driving home
marie pissed
"what the hell was that? i know when you're feeling sick, and you aren't sick. what's going on?"
hank doesn't respond
marie continues badgering him
hank gets really frustrated "marie, it's something i can't talk about right now, give me a break"
marie says "you tell me everything. this is totally new"
hank doesn't respond
they get home, hank gets out quickly and marie stays in car
marie knows something is really wrong
back at white residence walt and skyler are cleaning up from dinner
skyler points out it seems strange that hank just got sick and left
he is usually really tough and doesn't just leave like that
walt says it's weird, but doesn't make anything of it
cut scene
todd's apartment
lydia knocks on door
wants todd to cook walts blue meth for her czech contacts
todd says he has no idea where to even start
all he did was assist walt with basic things
he doesn't even have the lab equipment he would need to do it
lydia begs him to at least try
she looks really desperate for some reason, like it's not just money she's trying to get
todd apologizes but says he can't do it, even though he'd like the money
cut scene
hanks house
hank sleeping on couch, having more flashbacks about walt
can't sleep, drives into dea office
sits at his desk all night just staring
gomez gets in early, says he's never seen hank there that early
hank says i need to tell you something
says that he suspects walt has been heisenberg all along
gomez laughs
hanks tells him about what he saw in the book
gomez tells him that it's not proof of anything and hank is just letting his imagination run wild
hank said he was right about fring and no one believed him
hank still orders gomez to have someone follow walt
gomez still thinks he's crazy but agrees to do it
back at white residence
walt is in the bathroom, and he notices the walt whitman book
seems out of place, because it wasn't on the top before
opens it and reads through it
reads the line from gale
puts it back, then has second thought
throws it in garbage
kitchen phone rings
walt answers
it's jesse, says he needs to see him right now
walt angry at first that he called but agrees to see him
gets into his car and drives to jesse's house
he doesn't know that a dea agent is following him on hanks orders
he arrives at jesse's house
we see dea agent write something down on notepad
inside jesse's house
jesse tries to give money back to walt
refuses to have it, says it cost him too much
walt refuses to take it
they have an argument and walt leaves, gets back into car and drives home
at car wash, marie talking to skyler on phone
marie very apologetic that they left so suddenly
offers to take them out to dinner to make up for it
skyler accepts
back at home marie informs hank that they're going out to dinner with the whites
hank says no
marie demands to know what's going on
hank just says "fine, i'll go to your dinner" and walks out of the room
lydia blackmails jesse by threatening to expose him to the dea if he doesn't help her
still refuses
she sits down and starts crying
jesse totally unsympathetic, tells her to leave "yo get out of my house"
she starts sobbing uncontrollably
cut scene to white residence
skyler informs walt they have dinner with hank and marie
walt thinks its a great idea
skyler asks walt what they should do with the pile of money they have stored
walt says "burn it" - it's evidence and they have enough money from car wash to live forever anyway
they agree they'll do it that night, right after the dinner

I updated the thread title a bit. I'm not reading that spoiler though. Want to keep my mind and body fresh!

Didn't read it either. The cliffhanger was incredible. Remember how the opening scene of last season played out. He was definitely on the run in CT or some state.

It's my favorite show currently.

Fucking love that avatar. I laugh every time I see it.

Wikipedia done told me wtf the godawful series title means. That hillbilly grammar drives me nuts.

Fuck, that ending! Did you catch the subtle shift in the pitch of Walt's voice when he was saying that?

Yes. It was beautifully delivered. Loved the episode save that the Pinkman direction seems a bit overcooked.

Last ep1 he was in NH I think, now he's back in NM.

I'm really glad they exposed the Hank - Walt situation now. It would have been rote to string that out.

Oh, as suspected, the original spoiler I posted was bullshit.

I reflected on the Star Trek story. Why was it there? Seems like foreshadowing to me.

A fringe guy like Badger injects a show that has been off the air for 50 years, something is up.

A pie eating contest was an analogy for the meth business. In a pie eating contest you never know when to stop until your stuffed: Walt and Jesse's pile of money.

Captain Kirk is Jessie. The second Badger mentions Kirk getting up and puking, Jessie gets up and leaves the room and later he 'vomits' the money into Albuquerque yards.

This leaves Checkov and Spock. Checkov (Walt) has a plan (for laundering), he can cheat the system, but Ohura (my guess Lydia) fucks it up. Spock is Hank.

Interesting

^ It also draws out tension. Walt can move on him, or him and Jesse both. My guess is he has to do both.

If I recall, that tracker needed to be retrieved to upload data. So Walt wasn't worried Hank had him placed at Jesse's house.

Lastly, anyone else notice how much Walt acted like Gus at the cash register at the beginning of the episode?

I think Hank realizes Skyler isn't going to turn. Jesse probably won't turn either, even though Hank thinks so. Jesse can just say he found it and decided to give it away. Should be a hell of a scene.

I'm not sure why Lydia did that.

I'm not sure why Lydia did that.

Her buyers in the CR weren't happy with Declan's product. And Declan wouldn't use Todd as a cook. So Lydia had Todd and his gang of Nazi's take over.

She's just a middle man. She doesn't have the will, or the skills, to run things.

At one point, neither did Walt. Doing this certainly changes things. I also thought she provided some fundamental chemicals to the process.
