Indeed. We need more Kangaroo avatars.

They are all cool so far, I was expecting more of this;

I feel like they have let me down. They have done the complete opposite, being very knowledge and calmed about most things posted in here.

That was better than the Mayweather fight, though slightly more MMA. They use the tail as a 3rd leg. At one point, one kick clocked the nutsack and roo2 leaned over.

Some Roo fights are worthy of the street fight thread. They look like real people minus the kicks to the face when on the ground.

Hey CliveOfIndia welcome to DW. hopefully you do not have tiny feet and enjoy making fun of members here that do. If so you will fit in nicely.

Also, please tell us if you are pro-Eidos or anti-Eidos or conversely pro/con Liverano & Liverano. We need to know where you stand.

Finally, what is your position on the use of hair gel?

Roo vid's cgi right?

No, not at all - it's the real thing.

If you ever get into a fight with a kangaroo, you've got to be very careful to avoid their back feet as big, male kangaroos are known to sit back on their tails and use the large, sharp claws on their back feet to strike at the soft underbelly of the animal that they are fighting against, so as to try to injure or even disembowel them.

I'm serious. Really.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kangaroo#Predators

"Along with dingos, introduced species such as foxes, feral cats, and both domestic and feral dogs, pose a threat to kangaroo populations. Kangaroos and wallabies are adept swimmers, and often flee into waterways if presented with the option. If pursued into the water, a large kangaroo may use its forepaws to hold the predator underwater so as to drown it. Another defensive tactic described by witnesses is catching the attacking dog with the forepaws and disembowelling it with the hind legs."

Some of the BIG male old red roos can be very fearless if cornered and if you get close will certainly try and claw you with their back legs. Disembowelment would be one outcome.

They hate tackies AND Spanish fascists with equal intensity

This is a hilarious clip that I remember seeing when I was young (not so hilarious for the man in the costume, of course):

Hey,

just checked in yesterday. Actually was on the search for info on Orazio Luciano ... which I now know is an un-tailor.
Like the writing style all across the board so I decided to stay...

Not yet decided if pro-kremlin or not.

Cheers,
Axel

Welcome!

And fuck-kremlin.

the greatest holiday of mankind is coming up.
made possible by the great soldiers of the soviet union who destroyed NAZI GERMANY!!!
please show a little bit of respect

Hi! I'm Ethan, aka seamless, I'm a style forum member who hasn't been pleased with some of the conversations I've had. I stumbled upon this site over the disagreeable menswear thread and went through every page until I decided I liked you guys better.

I'm 24 years old and right now I'm fighting thyroid cancer. When I'm not being a badass kicking cancer around I'm a husband and work in the private label suit industry. Looking forward to learning more about menswear and cracking jokes.

Thanks! It was a shock to my wife and I. She just turned 23 and I'll be 25 later this month. It's been going well. I'm actually in the hospital now. Closest center was a 4 hour drive so I stay in house for 5 days then I'm out for a week.

Welcome bro, hope treatment succeeds.

I'm sorry to follow up a post filled with a fair bit of real life and sadness that we tend to try and escape with this forum and I wish the previous new poster the speediest of recoveries.
Anyhow, here we go.

I'm a lurker and I'd just like to say hello. I plan to be a bit more of a regular contributor from here on in. I really like the free for all attitude
that seems to hold sway around here. Whilst that same Laissez Faire attitude does seem to attract the crazies, I do want to commend
Rambo for his efforts to set up a place that managed to be do so much better than SF. A place where the lunatics have truly taken over the asylum. I love this place for the ability to call out the bullshit where members see fit.

Take care and I look forward to running into you fellas around here.

Welcome foxandhound foxandhound

Please do contribute as you will find that even the craziest of members here contribute information that is lacking on SF.

That is why we created Sartodinapoli's IGent dictionary to help new comers decipher things

I came here once the Disagreeable thread was mentioned on WAYWT on SF out of sheer curiosity. I'm not vehemently against SF in any way; I've learned way too much there. But I do enjoy some of the commentary on DW. I must say that while lurking I have probably laughed out loud more times on this site than any other. You guys are some cheeky bastards.

Anyway, my point is, I don't think posting on DW and SF should be mutually exclusive. I understand DW may have been the result of some sort of revolt against SF, but the anti-SF sentiment shouldn't need to be a requirement to have fun here as well.

Well put.

There are members here that exist on both the DW and SF planes including using the same user name.

DW is not just "the new FNB/Devil's Island" as some SF members would like to think.

But if DW members exhibits similar tendencies of some FNB members who have the ability to integrate intelligence & humour then that is a compliment.

That's a bit of a misconception. I started the original forum because I was fed up with Fok's management, business strategy, and over-monetization of the site, and I felt it was drifting too far away from the original forum's look and feel. And this was 2 years ago, so its only gotten worse since then. The goal was to give people a home to talk that was free of ads and spam. To that extent, I accomplished my goal. Sadly, it never got as popular as I had hoped, partly due to my own ham handedness. Much of the bullshit going on in the clothing forums started after I left, and I was never really a big clothing section guy to begin with.

If people want to post on SF, that's fine by the community, as evidenced by plenty of our members here posting on SF and it never having been an issue. We're not trying to start some kind of forum war.
