About - The “14oz Heritage Fleece” line of sweats is one of J.Crew’s consistently best set of items. - These were originally the Wallace & Barnes heavyweight sweats, but at some point the identical products moved over to J.Crew mainline. - I have owned the hoodie, crewneck, and the sweatpants, and all three have compared well to other sweats I’ve owned, like Reigning Champ in particular. - They are legit heavyweight at 14oz / 475 gsm. Composition is 84% cotton / 14% poly. So not 100% cotton, but they don’t feel plasticky or anything. - Unfortunately the price on this line has increased over the past year by $10-20, and they don’t seem to end up on the >60% clearance too often. - Thus, getting over 40% off these sweats “in-season” is about the best you’ll likely be able to do for a while I expect. This is like a Black Friday price basically on these items. - So not an amazing deal or a “steal” or anything, but good enough if you’re in the market for quality sweats.
