Music Of The Moment

There was a time, when I was a very bad and decadent young Pimpernel Smith, I introduced the buzz phrase that lasted for the whole of the weekend we didn't sleep or move from the coffee table at someone's pad: ''Me nerves are shattered with it!''

I liked this in the 60s before he got sampled and hyped.

I still have no idea how to do the mashed potato or the boogaloo.

I was never into dancing......

His funky stuff from the 70s is good.

I always liked a good pogo, that punk aesthetic, great with Irish music too. Sadly, with my spine, I'm as wooden as can be these days.

I always thought Northern lights was a hugely underrated album compared to The Band or Big Pink. Basement tapes with Dylan is better too but that does get praise.

Agree, all the later Band stuff the critics write-off. For Arcadian Driftwood alone, it's up there with The Night They Drove All Dixie Down.
