The Chinos Thread

I’ve been looking around to get some five pocket chinos suitable for travel. Most contain some stretch, which is unfortunate but inevitable. I tried Sid Mashburn, Tod Snyder, Brooks Brothers, Banana Republic and J Crew.

Sid are the best, with a higher rise and a mover, dressier fabric. I ended up buying a couple of pairs of J Crew with some stacked coupons. They aren’t anything special, but exactly what I need. At half the Brice of TS and BB, they are very similar in quality.

Fair enough, but what DO you call 5 pocket pants made out of chino fabric? They aren’t jeans.
