Why stop at Ferguson? It's a national problem, along with seizures, and general police asshole-ness towards everyone not in a uniform.

I like this cop, who does his duty. But it seems for every good cop you have 5 shitty cops . I have 2 friends training to become cops, one probably won't make it once they check his medical background. Guy flips out when I don't invite him to watch a hockey game. I don't trust him with a gun or authority.

Petty police power is the same as political power. The people who seek it are usually exactly the same people that you don't want having it.

That's an oldie but it is so damn inspirational to have the guy looking like Darth Vader but politely and knowledgeably being fair about the law. In the perfect world, all cops would be constitutional scholars like this.

How many times have you seen a pig put on the emergency lights just to cross the intersection then turn them off because they didn't want to wait?

Fewer times irl than I've seen videos of police assaulting or murdering. Getting in a traffic accident on duty is probably worse for a jackboot's career. :laugh1:

I remember deciding to block a cruiser into doing the speed limit on a highway. I got the horn. After moving over, he sped up about a quarter mile and pulled into a speed trap.

Some little nook hidden by a cutout in the hills of the wide grass median. Why would they design private u-turn ways in the highway such that they obscured visibility of a merging car???
