No mention of his criminality or sexuality or poor business practices here, just discussion on his personal stylistic choice that this bizarre brand spokesperson has adopted for himself.

Hey, he's just a crazy cat, stylin' in his own unique way, living his dream. A dream he has had since he was a child. Why you all hating on him?

He was a JOURNALIST for YEARS. Years! He is a tie maker! He doesn't even take shit from his wife! He is living his dream!

He is prancing in the country. In gladheatehers! Who of us can do that without being beaten to death by our families and strangers alike?

Despite what we say, the fabrics are ALL vintage. It must be true and we are the misguided ones.

Oh, how I long for my own Mimo Pirozzi instead of my tailor Won Hung Lo.

I want to dance, to prance in bespoke pants that make even Ambrozi (Ambrosi, Ameoba?) cry. He has taken bondage pants out of the dungeon and into the mainstream world.

I want my eyesight to fail so I too can wear blue spectacles so I may jauntily touch them between thumb and forefinger to accentuate a point I have just made or to elevate my photo shoots to something resembling art.

He is the inner you, he is the inner me. He is the creepy skinner inside of us clawing to crawl out from within us all and bugger the world. But unlike him we are too scared, too weak to let our demons free.

But he is unfettered and alive. Look closely at his pictures and you can see the remains of the skin he has shed like a snake. He is a butterfly and we are but squirming larvae. He has evolved while we still dig in the dirt with rudimentary tools. He has the feathers of a bird while we have the oily fur of otters.

Some have breakfast at Tiffany's others have lunch at Maresca's. He sups on the souls of fools who long for vintage thirsts of ancient craftsmanship.

He is a prophet. His ties are icons, nay crucifixes for what he represents is a religion and we are lowly heretics.

Don't you see it? Don't you want to see it?

Oh Sartodi Napoli Sartodi Napoli save us from ourselves!
Honestly, I always figured that he was an insurance salesman trying to convince the draft board that he was a slightly insane flaming homosexual, but Thruth points out that he may be utterly guileless and uninhibited, letting his inner animal/child totally run amok free in utter defiance to the mores of good taste.

His gladheateher clown shoes are quite terrible, and I like spectator shoes. I own a pair of spectator shoes. But they don't have that odd stripe across the toes or that awful lacing system.

His adoption of citrus, tropical, and primary colors is daring, but not really in a good way. He seems not to understand the wise advise of having only one really attention-drawing item at a time. And his breezy light resort colors are not used in the right context.

I have always hated the exaggerated pocket square display. This should be a visible tip of an iceberg, but he embraces and exemplifies the more is more idea by having a giant flourish overflowing instead of a small hint discreetly displayed.

His giant butcher/cabana stripe shirts are just insane and I have never seen anything like them.

I don't hate the blue glasses, but again, this is a bold item that should stand on it's own and not be paired with other eye-grabbing pieces. I can't say the fit ever wows me, but others may have a better eye for that.

He is a caricature of a cartoon figure as drawn by a child.

There is no subtlety. There is no coherence. Everything is exaggerated but not in a dandy way. Colours are brash not muted.

Patterns are loud not bold.

Tacky both in the normal and Sartodi Napoli Sartodi Napoli vernaculars is a most appropriate word to describe his presentation.

He tries to out-Pitti the Piitistas.

If his fits were to make a sound it would be the off-tone clang of a miscast bell.

It is a shame because the far-over-the-top visual spectacle blinds one to the skills of his tailor.

He's not in Nick Wooster camo shorts territory yet. I have no idea why anyone would build their presumably expensive custom wardrobe on immediately identifiable items. Every time you see him, it's "Oh, the electric blue blazer, again" or "hey Gianni, you always, and I mean always, look so different in those bright yeller pentz!"

Who was that fruity figure skater that commented at the Scochi Olympics? Gianni reminds me of him, less the femme aspect. He's a human flashing banner ad just hoping to get clicked.

I have absolutely no idea where he is sourcing these loony fabrics from. His bespoke wardrobe may well use as much vintage fabric as the ties that are made for his company.

This is it. He's not about taste or aesthetics, it's one-upmanship. I personally suspect that he wants to wear the same bland clothes every day but the wife is forcing him into the peacockery.

in my country was a Tribunal of Social Order until 1977 where social dangerous people was judged and imprisonated.

I strongly believe on it. This two degenerates are the example.

I think I speak for all real men when I say we all miss the strong leadership of Generalissimo Franco, Spain, and indeed the world, is a poorer place for his passing.

I hope you are making a list of all tackies etc in mens wear for elimination when another strong leader emerges.

I'm sure - like many of Gianni's customers - El Caudillo would have been only too pleased to introduce Señor Cerutti to a car battery and a couple of jumper leads.

That weird yellow/red/green crap scheme on the pochette is just intrinsically bad in my eyes. The edge stitching in the lapel, the swelled edge, does not look like it belongs here. Of course turquoise gingham with a flannel DB is beyond imbecility.

Jesus, I really really hope that he worn that for photographic purposes only. The Pitti Uomo residents may even laugh at him.

Is that single or double breasted? The fit is akin to my custom overcoat (hey, I started an overcoat thread , everybody). That pattern is a little high contrast and the scale makes him look gift-wrapped. I find it odd that seemingly no attempt was made at pattern-matching the sleeves.

ugh, "bespoke vintage" Yeah, my tailor uses leftover cloth too. It's not vintage.

Eric Glennie's designs are marginally more tasteful than this.

:ohstopityou: If the tie and pocket square had about 1/3 the area showing, and the tie pattern were maybe 1/6 scale...
For real, that has to be upholstery fabric this idiot is using, right? What would such a pattern be used for?

Toto, the "Prince of Laughter":

As Umberto Eco wrote:
In this globalized universe where it seems that everybody's watching the same movies and eating the same food, there are still abysmal and overwhelming fractures separating one culture from another. How can two peoples [i.e. the Chinese and the Italian], one of which unknowing of Totò, truly understand each other?
