Lol. Its nothing horrible. Just a confluence of factors (extra wide forefoot, high instep, narrow heel) that make finding shoes very difficult.I think we need a bare-feet photo,Grand Potentate . Proofs.
Tried it. It sucked. But, it might work for you.thanks
did you try this ever? Did it hold together fine?
Going to hit the shoe repair shop again tomorrow after work
Harv's a resourceful guy. I'm sure he could go down to the local Tru-Value and grab a few different grits.Harvy those wont work. They haven't been sanded
You should really get the NRA in on this.Word, I thought I saw a Horween video where they dragged a knife blade across a piece of shell cordovan to scuff it to hell, then basically buffed it out with a rag. There was no mention of having to kill a deer if a little mist got on the shoes.
deer? some other woodland creature, perhaps? We've taking to adding vinegar to our dishwasher loads as well. I approve.
Also, I am buying a cordovan bone and a new horsehair brush.
Got my boan today. Holy shit it worked like a champ.
I think we're talking preventative and restorative maintenance as opposed to restocking inventory.I thought all you needed to maintain your wardrobe was a road map to Good Will and a reasonable credit limit.
Dumb question, but what is the style of the nearest, front shoe called? It's not really a wingtip or a captoe and I don't think I've ever seen anything like them.
Both my tweed coats are from there, as well as a couple really good shirts and some good ties too. It's a cheap timekill.I have no problem shopping at good will. Occasionally some good buys on clothing there.
Oh yeah, even Allen Edmonds does one now!
Are these an old school Euro thing or a modern trendy deal? I thought the former but read the latter.
Didn't they take TSP out of detergents because it fucks up the environment?Hydrogen peroxide for blood stains.
Trisodium phosphate as a laundry detergent additive so it works like it should.
Bah, contributes to algae if not treated. Treat the wastewater! Plenty of phosphates from poop, fertilizer, natural minerals etc.Didn't they take TSP out of detergents because it fucks up the environment?
I'm a latecomer to this, but it seems to be effective. Using it for collar and cuff pre-treating too. We've taking to adding vinegar to our dishwasher loads as well. I approve.
It's a powder BTW. This stuff is impressive. Dingy old shirts are now glaringly white. Soak for an hour or so for maximum benefit.I have a bar of RIT Whitener & Brightener that I'm going to use on my next all-white load
