What Are You Wearing Today?

Cucinelli’s “tailored clothing” has absolutely nothing going for it. Whatever they are trying to do—3-2 roll, soft, lightly structured jackets, etc.—there are at least two or three other brands that are (or were) doing it better in RTW. You’re probably better off getting from eBay some (NWT) Belvest or thrifting via eBay or otherwise some (made in Italy) blue-label PRL. You’ll often get the same deal as those outlet prices that you’re talking about.

Of course, none of this really matters if you’re wedded to the doppio. But that’s not really their thing either, is it?

Where can I get NWT Belvest for EUR 100 on Ebay? Any link/seller?
I have a Polo Ralph Lauren by Corneliani and is far superior that Cucinelli.

I just knew that I'd bait a Spaniard with the promise of an incredible bargain. . .

Let's be honest here: you haven't actually bought a Cucinelli SC for 100 euros (unless it is used or has some sort of an imperfection).

But, at any rate, the following sellers have a wide range of Belvest SCs (and suits) among other things. And the SCs sometimes go all the way down to $200 (and sometimes below). Not to mention the fact that they might entertain offers via direct message and e-mail for stock that they are desperate to get rid off. So you should be fine, as long as you don't send him an atrociously low-ball offer.

The shame of having taken the photo in my very own bathroom instead of a public restroom. . .

Why should I be lying re the price? I actually paid a little less than EUR100. They even had a really nice 100% cashmere blazer for about Eur 200 but the only sizes left were too big for me. The only issue is that is an ‘old model’ from 2010. I think I still have the labels at home and I can check that.

Thank you for the links. There are some good prices on the first seller, I have saved both sellers. The second one is selling Bellvest from 2013 to 2016 seasons. I am not much of an online buyer. I have a relatively difficult fit and I prefer brick and mortar shops where I can try models. I can easily get Tombolinis, Boglioli, Brando for the eur100-200 price that I can try on.

Oh dear G-d, please don't dig up any labels or prices. . . I believe you!

I have no idea about what Tombolini or Brando is, but I'm somehow puzzled as to why you'd compare Boglioli to Belvest. . .

In my experience Boglioli (I have 5) is similar to Tombolini (I have 3) Brando is similar, one step below in terms of quality (I have 2) no idea regarding Belvest as I haven't seen any in the flesh.

Boglioli has many levels (Key, coat, Dover, etc...)
The point I am trying to make is a bird in hand is worth two in the bush, why to risk EUR 100 on a unknown Belvest that i have no idea of how it fits when I can have something similar that fits better for the same price.

You incompetent, ingrate, inbred moron! Learn how to embed your photographs in your post!

On a side note, kudos to your canine companion for mastering the fundamentals of aristocratic portraiture.

You beat me to it. But I fixed it for the coconut.

I think his dog realized he fucked up the pic embed by the look on his face.

1 1859 please to name your brands. Especially boots to hooves and please tell us what ungodly size too. Welcome to DW BTW

Thanks for the embedding.
The Jacket is Caruso, the pants Hiltl.
Boots are Chelseas from Michael Alba in Vienna. Rather cheap, but okay quality.
Better than Meermin in any case.
Size US 12, makes all pants look like leggings.

You cannot go wrong with gun club check and you will get good mileage out of it. No problem with everyone else having a similar jacket either.
