good to see this thread picking up. Pauly Chase Pauly Chase the springninja look suits you much better. Betelgeuse Betelgeuse is it winter over there? not keen on the ps, also looks very big, like a rolled up lady's scarf almost. FriendCustomer FriendCustomer like it except for the sh00 color. lino watch will get you bonus points from Thruth Thruth . tie knot looks like you tried to kill yourself, is BLSoda BLSoda to blame for that?

the shoo's were a bad choice, wore them on sunday, was too lazy to put the trees in, so rewore on monday. not exactly a lino watch, more like an andrea watch, but at least it fits under my shirt cuff. maybe its the tie knot parisian, ala cifo.

today more conservative, important meeting, black eg caps not photographed. although suit has a great vintage double plane fabric, very discreet 50s like pattern and texture, only visible up close with a microscope, but definitely not to everyone's taste

nice of LKP LKP that he lent you his overcoat. is the tailor of the suit and jacket engrish?

ConchitaWurst ConchitaWurst - That's a truly excellent tie.

thanks. it's from cappelli. will you and other aussies like HenryC also be participating in the waywn thread in an attempt to get more clothing related content here?

do you guys think it would be better if the like function is disabled in this thread ( Grand Potentate Grand Potentate is that technically possible?) to avoid this becoming too much like the sf equivalent?

today's suit and coat is english, yesterdays jacket was italian. for a time i was sort of dividing formal/business with english tailor and more casual with italian, but the lines started to blur and then for a variety of reasons i have started to use italians for more and more.

Shoto combats commando soles. I think the leather is horse, but can't recall. They are surprisingly light weight.

Thruth Thruth - what color is the shirt?=

it is pale lavender. sadly, not a preferred shade of iGents but i kind of dig it with charcoal. i am pretending i am from the UK today which is also why i am wearing black boots and i don't even have a funeral or job interview to go to!

i'll wear a lavender shirt tomorrow in support of you!

I'm personally a fan of light lavender. IMO it's a good alternative to my vast amount of blue shirts. Unfortunately (fortunately?) I haven't had to put on a dress shirt and tie in a few months and won't have to for a while.

FriendCustomer FriendCustomer - deets on the houndstooth SC? Both fits look good. I'm a fan of the colors and pattern mixing.

thanks. well the jacket is a shetland tweed, a run for the London Lounge, lovat mills in scotland is the mill. Its a darker and hairier than the picture (all my iphone photos are a bit washed out). the london lounge fabrics are pretty damn expensive, but if you like a pattern he is selling and a heavier cloth the quality is usually excellent. its southern Italian bespoke, but i'm not gonna get into who the tailor is in this thread. not because i'm a dick who wants to keep secrets, but because I believe its largely irrelevant to a thread like this (this is not SF and we are not brand whores unless its about watches or cars), i never discussed posting pictures of the tailor's work online with the tailor and i'd feel uncomfortable giving him publicity positive or negative without his consent and i value my privacy (don't want mr raro or any other of my other internet enemies lying in wait for me outside the sartoria) .
