Wanna bet Rambo is going to make a hair thread which promptly kills all conversation?
I don't own a true navy.I do that as well, but I think burgundy/oxblood looks even better with navy.
I want that hair when I hit 50. I've always wanted hair like that, but I think you have to be a certain age, or at least have a good number of grays, to really pull it off. At the moment, my hair is too thick for that to work. I had hair that length for a while; a girl I was dating liked the look. I wore a wire hairband to keep it pulled back--I felt like a wannabe footballer on more than one occasion. But it was ridiculously low maintenance. And, well, the girl liked it. Perhaps she suffered from poor eyesight.
Found a very old picture:
I wear ox blood shoes with my charcoal suit...
I want to own a seersucker suit.
Can't find them RTW unless it's a stupid baby blue white stripe.
What would you be looking for? I can't promise anything but I can call my vendors.
Cool. What size do you normally wear?Dark navy or charcoal. Texture's complex enough, don't need alternating colors.

I think I'll probably wear an OCBD unbuttoned at some point in the near future.
Nooooooooo!
I think I'll probably wear an OCBD unbuttoned, with a tie, at some point in the near future. Though there are many things about sprezzatura that bug me, this has never been one of them.
Bruce who?!If its good enough for Bruce G Boyer - then I guess its good enough for anyone
Bruce who?!
Bruce who?!
In the southwest of Germany we prefer to eat well made local dishes like Schäufele, Maultaschen, Schupfnudeln, Flädlesupp, Kässpätzle, Ochsenbrust or Rehrücken.
If we want to spent a little bit more money (which we have, even if we have to pay for the underarchiever regions in germany like Berlin) we go to one of the 74 Michelin stars rated restaurants in the region.
For variety. Always looking out for ways to drop the level of formality in a jacket and tie (short of ditching the tie). Why not wear a regular oxford shirt if not using collar point buttons?
Unsure if Chorn's trolling, getting ready for the next Pitti, or both?
Gloves/hat/scarf with suit makes sense to me since extremities get colder faster than the body. Long as the accessories aren't too chunky think it's perfectly fine.
I agree. But i know many an iGENT who carp about it.
In my defence, i am mainly based in London for much of the year and in colder weather it is never really cold enough for an overcoat so i just go with heavy trews ( 15+ oz) and heavy-ish OJ or heavy-ish suit, capybara gloves, scarf and hat and i am fine.
Umbrella not sufficient?
If I'm NOT wearing a tie I never iron the shirt. (Thats most days) But its not as if they are crinkled all over like crap either.I wore a very old, pale blue, oxford-cloth shirt with a button-down collar without ironing it today, paired with beige chino pants, brown cotton socks and shell cordovan loafers.
Actually, I know that fxh wears an un-ironed OCDB shirt sometimes, so I suppose that it's not that bad.
