You're right about the collar being too small.

However, I can't agree with you about the outfit otherwise being alright, because the man is wearing clip-on braces with his trousers!!!

I can live with clip-on suspenders. I won't wear one but it's not a deal breaker for me.

I know everyone agrees with you, but I don't get it. honestly with italian cut trousers, what difference does it make? obviously with english full cut, high wasted, braceback trousers clipons would be absurd. But if you are wearing pants that are cut to be worn with a belt (even if the belt loops are missing), clip ons are no more of an affectation than sewing six buttons on the inside waist of your trousers to wear traditional braces. traditional braces with italian trousers look just as silly (or just as cool) as clip ons. I guess you might not like the way the metal clip looks, but i don't get that either as belt buckles are metal, and traditional braces colored leather or elastic ends can be just as visually incongruent.

Because clip ons just look silly. Clip ons used be the cheap option. It was for people who wanted braces, but could not afford bespoke. So, wearing them with a bespoke suit is just another one of those stupid 'ironic 'affections. Especially if those are $150 liverano clip one.

If you're wearing clip ons with RTW stuff with belt loops I can understand it, but if you specifically get your trousers made for you without belt loops you might as well get some buttons inside the waistband.
 
The thing I like about clip on braces is that they're just easier to use. I prefer using them over button braces :p

They're harder to use. With buttons you know you'll always place it in the correct position, and it takes like 30 secs max to button the braces.

i have used both and really they are about the same. i think clip ons are easier to get off when you gotta take a shit, don't need to remove your jacket. lolololo

any fool can sew six buttons in any pair of pants, you don't need to be rich or buy bespoke to afford this. What you seem to be missing is that only pants properly cut for braces, warrent braces. These bespoke italian pants with the clip on braces are no different than bespoke pants with belt loops, they are not being cut to be worn with traditional braces. any type of braces on these pants are an affectation whether they are are clip on or traditional.

To me the type of braces don't really matter... it's those damn 6-7 buttons you have to unbutton when you are in a rush...

Not just that. Think of the cruel teeth biting into the beautiful fabric - it's just not right. I'd sooner attach clip-on braces to my cock than to my bespoke pentz.

but I don't understand why people get bespoke with belt loops. Side tabs are so much better.

Also, I never take my jacket off when I'm in suspenders (rarely). So non-issue there. Nobody sees my clips.
