Agreeable Menswear Post Of The Day

Didn't he adopt those collars to hide scarring from throats cancer or something?

That makes sense, one of the reasons I went back to T&A and ditched the OCBD after my neck operation was to hide my rather large scar which looks like I've just escaped the clutches of ISIS. Those operation scars on the neck don't go away like you're told. They stay red looking forever.

Just FYI, this type of high, stiff collar is named after Walther Rathenau:

Did he have throat cancer or was it just to hide the 'wrinkly foreskin' effect of having once been a fattie and then suddenly losing a ton of blubber?
That and also not being the youngest any more, yet having a younger boyfriend (if you were talking about Lagerfeld, that is).

Ugh...there's another person who wears the same damn shit every effing day posing in front of some car or in a flower garden.

One of the better dressed posters over there. Traditional - not 'pitti uomo' stuff.

I don't know what the flower garden thing is about. Maybe his line of work?

He has his own garden and it has a name. Indeed, he dresses conservatively and not like the hipsters of Pitti-full.

Edit
Fck! Flower Garden isnt his actual garden?!
There's videos of him translating(?) in sign language. It's a better contributing job than a freaking cpa.

Actually, it's quite well written in a smarmy kind of way. I can relate to some of the stuff about his grandfather: they wore ties and jackets all the time, even when mowing the lawn on a Saturday. And they were strong believers that someone on the bones of their arses would inevitably have crap shoes, they did believe that you could tell the cut of one's jib by their shoes.

This photo is not incongruous in a clever or arty way, it's just plain daft:

Those wheat fields after being harvested are no place for a soft pair of monks, they'll be buggered in no time.

Also his insistance on wearing city business suits in country setting photo shoots is most daft. After this photo shoot he is probably down at the pub in a big pony polo shirt.

I did not think interpreter was a well paid job. Certainly not one that would enable you to raise a family and spend significant money on your own clothes.

Not sure what part of the country he lives in. Maybe it is somewhere affordable, but he will need to visit the big cities to buy clothes. He does seem to mostly feature rural settings.

Much nostalgia for the halcyon days of his youth before The Flower Garden arrived. Mind you, I am not sure I would rely too much on the linguistic skills of someone who calls his daughters The Flower Garden.

Horses for courses. YMMV

No man he means the liverano styled sweeping cutaway of the front quarters of the jacket. Throws off the proportions IMO but still a big step up from his double bath robe error.
