Not sure what part of the country he lives in. Maybe it is somewhere affordable, but he will need to visit the big cities to buy clothes. He does seem to mostly feature rural settings.

Interpreting is unless you're working for a big international agency or body, or at ambassador level, pretty much a dead art form. You need interpreting plus whatever it is the field your bosses are in combined with the technical side. A place like here, the natives are bilingual anyway.

The only professional interpreter I knew of, was doing all kind of English voice overs on adverts and radio acting and when it came to sell his business on retirement, he couldn't sell it.

Actually quite boring and the sloppiness of it is not quite right. It's straight up and down with added flop.

Uh...I exercise, play soccer for 90 minutes with amateurs, I cut out sugary food. You tell me how that's going to broaden my shoulders. Who cares if I am pear shaped, I am married and don't wear shitty Formosa suits anymore.

Shit, I've been called ugly all my life so I couldn't care less.

Lifting weights is so boring to me. We have had this conversation before. I will ask this one question: can you broaden your shoulders even in your mid 30s? I think of broad shoulders as genetics or gained via some form of excersise before the age of 18. Am I wrong in all this? I am viewing shoulder width the same way I view height. You just can't grow taller after a certain age. With shoulders you can add bulk. The pear shape can be "managed" by getting rid of the gut first and by trying to add bulk in the shoulders.

yes. you can do heavy compound lifts...things like bench presses (chest and shoulders), overhead presses, and more focused exercises side raises and stuff like that. eat a ton of protein and carbohydrates.

the wider you are, the less pear shaped youll look, even if you dont get rid of the gut.

Just need to suck it up and guess I gotta start. I don't mind being called ugly but I do mind being called a pear, probably because I know it is something that I can control.
 
You're not gonna make hugely noticeable changes to your shoulders without a radical change in diet and exercise. Difficult to obtain and difficult to maintain.

Instead of having anxiety attacks about every miniscule critique you receive from a bunch of virgins on the internet, keep up with your exercise and decent eating habits to stay reasonably slim, and step away from the current trend of 'everything soft shouldered and neopolitan'. Look for jackets with a bit more structured shoulder. And don't be jealous of Paula. He may have the shoulders you desire but in every picture I've seen of him he looks like he's on his way to bed or the beach. Which would be fine if he wasn't spending a king's ransom on his pyjamas and trunks!
 
Conversely, you could just say fuck it, and not give a shit about what a bunch of pencil dicked desk jockeys on the internet think about the way you look and just live your ugly ass life to the best of your ability.

Indeed, it would be good to follow Grand Potentate Grand Potentate 's advice and way of life by simply not wearing any clothing at all!

Think of it this way, one less decision to make in the morning!

I wonder what language he interprets for? I think it's Sign but I'm hoping it's Pashto and he's really a sleeper for ISIS.

Actually I believe the interpreter thing is a side gig and not the whole story. Fair enough he doesn't want to share it on SF. Contractor for the NHS / private U.K. hospitals was my impression. Possibly also selling stolen medication to fund his clothing habit but that is just a wild guess.

Depending on language and level, interpreting can be quite well-paid although, unless you're an in-house interpreter, the work can be both uncertain and peripatetic.

Ok. He can do whatever with his own money. Why do we even care? There are people who are making less than six figures (USD) but are dressed like they're making millions whereas there are also some who make a ton but are frugal.

To be happy make sure you are tanned, live in expensive buildings, even if you have to stay in the cellar, go out to expensive restaurants, even if you can only afford one drink and if you have to borrow, borrow a lot.
